@lexterm77 I guess it’s better (for traceability) if you open a new thread with a more inherent title I’m going to close this one as the feature request is in fact a duplicate

This makes profound sense now that there is no longer a web application. Would love to see a today screen widget.

Either add options there, or adding options to the (only android?) map screen, the one which has click able start points https://forum.suunto.com/user/mff73 All in all, it could be much more logic to fully enhance the common map page, and add click able capacity to any filtered tracks.

I wanted to revitalize this topic a bit. I think having the option to see photos of the current conditions on the map would be very helpful. Likewise, a heatmap generated upon the last 30 days/14 days of public activities would be great. Perhaps, to better saturate heatmaps with data, one can decrease the selection options to just foot/wheel/ski or something similar. All of this would be extremely useful around this time of the year when the snow slowly disappears from the mountains, but even from the webcams, it’s hard to judge if it’s already safe enough to hike in a certain region.

@brad_olwin I’m not sure I follow. are you talking watchface parameter or activity parameter? there is the outdoor watchface that shows the time to sunset/sunrise whichever is next down to minute even when screen is locked/partially asleep and then there is suunto+ weather with the same thing. this is different then?

To the Moderators Staff: you can close this thread. I found this previous thread more useful, because if we have this feature could cover this suggestion also: Ability to edit moves when we forget to stop it Thanks in advance,

@richard-thygesen Yeah ok but it’s the same view as in the diary and has most of the space dedicated to maps etc which makes it more cluttered than the one in the OP I was commenting? Its hard to browse and compare when you can see max two activities simultaneusly. I also never understood why it needs to tell me my own name in each activity.

Gravel is in the S9PP, and will come to the other watches. It is also already in SA.

Great job Suunto! I like that the tag feature is back again. Have som suggestions to improve this feature. You can just use a tag as a shortcut from the home screen. Just from the home screen you can get to the overview how many hours of training or distince the tag is related to. On the home screen all the other activities from people you are following are shown. So I think it is not so user friendly to scroll down to your own activity in order to catch a distinct tag and than get the stats. It is more comfortable to just “click” the tagg independet from if you are on the home screen or getting via the calender or trend page to your activity. So there was one thing left Suunto… I want to have the ascend stats too connected to the taggs Please… I am getting an old man and can not wait so long any more

@rdarden Garmin Explore does allow Save to Files. It’s a great app although I’ve found sometimes it doens’t always have the amount of detail as Suunto App. But it’s awesome nonetheless. (I use a Garmin Instinct as well as my Suunto’s)

I’ve not experienced the voice feedback as it’s not supported on the 5 peak. However, for many years I’ve used iSmoothRun and it has really good control over the voice feedback. With iSmoothRun you can: specify how often you get general status updates - by time or distance - and whether you want them on auto lap or after intervals control exactly which metrics (from a list almost as long as Suunto offers for display config), in which order, you are told control whether to just hear the metrics or also the units control the speed of the voice pick whether to receive zone alerts for pace, hr and power (e.g. “Zone 2”) choose to have out-of-target-range alerts (e.g. “above zone”) based on structured workouts or basic zones receive updates on target range occasionally to confirm you are still in range have your next step in a structured workout read out a few seconds before it starts (“30s at 3:45 … go”) receive end of interval/session distance countdowns (800m, 400m, 200m, 100m) setup alerts for hydration and nutrition every x minutes Honestly, if you wanted, you’d rarely need to look at the display when using iSmoothRun and I’d love to see similar capabilities from Suunto. As you say, it’s an app thing so hopefully easier to implement than if it was on the watch. As a side-note, iSmoothRun and other apps have similar “ducking” problems with some music sources where the volume of the original audio doesn’t return to normal. I get the impression it’s an issue with Apple’s audio framework and how different apps have implemented audio control. Spotify commonly seems to have issues, for instance.

@morm1 100% agree with you. Cheerleading is also big in Suunto world, but ebike is not…
