@Yves-Jenni i dont care much on the automatic tags…. My issue come with the personal tags (like shores, or HR bands….) I have a duplicated tag that i cannot delete and only appears in Android, iOS seems to filter it… Some basic functionality should come like: edit/delete multiple assignation In my dreams Suunto, just get inspired on Stryd app BR Ion

@Mathis-.-Pct each activity has a title were you can write, but this is just a line of text. A private comment, is a section were you can write anything (like how do you feel, or how was the new pair of shoes working or if you run with a friend…) that it will be always only for you, so if the activity is public or only shared with your followers, it will not be exposed

@Laura-Baird RunGap is a good service and for some may be worth the subscription. I see it pretty much only as a “bridge” app to get data from one place to another; while you can see basic info for sessions it won’t be in any great detail and doesn’t add on what Suunto app would show. HealthFit I see primarily as an analysis tool that I rely on to look at my activities, having years of data in it from my use of the Apple Watch. It just so happens to also be a good way to import/export sessions to/from Apple Health. HealthFit can export automatically — I have it set to send certain things to Strava and intervals.icu — but it does not import automatically. HealthFit is probably the first app I’d recommend for most people using Apple Health for data that wants to go beyond Apple’s Fitness/Health apps. It’s a one time cost to purchase, with an optional sort of patreon membership that unlocks some very minor extra features that were more recently added; no feature has ever been “moved” from the normal tier to the extra level, so I have no concerns about recommending it for those who are subscription adverse.
  • Add sleep manually (and/or allow import from another source)

Another option would be to allow the import from another source. The Suunto app currently seems to refuse to import sleep data. I tried the Android app Health Sync. This also results in the advantage that you could switch to a ring or something else to monitor your sleep. I like Suunto, but the sleep recording makes a 40 euro watch from Xiaomi better

It could be nice as part of a better “interval training” approach. Defining several intervals with different targets regarding HR ranges, pace ranges and so on. And getting alerts when out of the planned zone. Just as Garmin does. Sorry if its not polite to mention that here

@pshemo74 no idea about the time. hehe. I hope we open a feature requests area for watches to say the truth. Do you mind if I move this to the lounge for now, till perhaps in the future it belongs back to some other category? My apologies as much as I like this subject but I also need to keep a bit the scope towards the new app for start at least.

@dirty-hippie When you comment on some other users activitiy you also get notifications when other comment there. Turning push notifications off for comments will also kill all notifications for comments on your own activities. More detailed options to follow/unfollow activities would be nice.

@SlaSh but the idea is great. It could be improved upon by adding stuff like distance, speed, calories and such.

@Tim4c I climb both indoors (mainly boulder) and outdoors (sport, trad). Thanks for the link. HR in sport climbing would also include stress and fear, but it would be a good indicator, plus you can check probably if you rest enough before hard sections based on hr.
