The apps that were available on the Ambits were not ported over to the Spartan line of hardware. That is really all we know.

@jthomi I think it’s worth leaving to aid in searching. People will get here and then be able to find the main topic? I don’t have a problem with you deleting it if you feel it’s the best approach though. You’re the moderator after all.

I miss aquathlon and duathlon modes. In the rests multisports you can create a session on the fly, the problem are the transitions in those sports.

@Brad_Olwin said in direct route from connected strava to app: @mountainChris No, it is more flexible to have GPX import, allowing use of multiple apps for GPX export as opposed to Strava. Most of the routes I need to import are not on Strava. That’s “direct” enough for me

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos same problem for Ambit3. Do you think Suunto app map will support Ambit 3 soon.

@Brad_Olwin here in Norway, cross country trails are marked as blue lines in the Suunto app map. It would have been nice with function “follow the cross country track”. now I have to use “manual drawing”

@sartoric I have the ABIT 3. I can’t find a week, a month or a year’s record of how long I’ve been training in the different HR zones. It would also have been desirable to be able to personalize the various HR zones in the Suunto app, as one can with Spartan.

I find the darker colors for the watchface not as good as green or yellow, the ones I typically use. Second, in sunlight the watch colors are very good for me and the screen easy to read. Do you know there is a standby backlight option? If you turn that on it will help with readability inside and in darker areas. Agreed on the top line of the display, there is no reason to be showing the same data twice on one watchface.

What i would love for non GPS activities: End of the workout, get a GPS signal and add the location. if not found (indoor/no signal…) do not add one but enable the user to change/add locations afterwards in the app.

@revo2019 I don’t think that this pressure will help It would be nice to have apps, yes. I used some apps on my A3PS but since I use my S9B I can also live without these apps as most of the functionality I really needed is now there. One app eg was just to convert from meters per minute ascent rate to meters per hour. And one was for an ascent rate for the past 5 minutes… now I have by default meters per hour and I can look for ascent rate average since the last automatic or manual lap… I’ve had a Fenix3 and they have apps… but for me as a non-IT guy it was way too difficult to programm them…

Still the functionality that I specified doesn’t exist and it would be nice to have it directly in the SA

@silentvoyager I have been able to make this work by zooming in as far as possible and then click on the track until I select the one with the correct distance. Not ideal but it works.

@silentvoyager my personal view is that merged heatmaps show basically where people move often. Maybe I see it different as I most likely live in a different style of area? Running, Trailrunning and MTB already look very similar. You can check my area, east of the city Zug. If heatmaps merge you’ll loose the reason for the heatmap: to see where it’s worth to go for a specific sport. Plus I don’t see any harm in keeping it separate… you can check running AND trailrunning. Maybe I see it wrong but the heatmap for me is to fly high and checkout an entire area, but the closer details at second sight
