Would be nice to see the list of fixes, even small ones, if that is possible. So far it feels like nothing is happening.

@wyvern To me SA is showing GPS direction and not compas. So random feeling could just be due to trying to get a direction while not moving. Just tried, and while walking, direction is perfect, and “random” if stopped.

I do see the same issue on my suunto spartan too. Max speed during cycling usually exceeds 171 km (i have one trainig with 300km even ). Altitude drops by 150 meters within few second (path i train has maybe 30 meters of elevation in total). What is strange hiking or walking data doesn’t show these peaks so far. I don’t have the pod just the watch itself. Is there any solution planned? It’s a bit frustrating.

We need POIs in the app but I have stopped using Movescount and now only syncing from RunGap on iOS. I am missing planned moves as I used those but can live without them for now. The ability to import GPX files and to convert moves to routes is the major functionality I need. So, I have jumped ship. All I have to do is export a route from MC to get it into SA. I can do that on my phone.

Just found this searching for an answer to the sync issue. Made the stt folder but in the storage its called stt-dump is that correct date and time saved corresponds? Next question if you still want log files easiest way to send them? Sorry but not really used Google drive or Dropbox much.

@frederic never used Movescount. I bought my S9 one year ago. I’m still learning. It’s like if I bought a Ferrary and I don’t know how to drive

@Egika I would like to get a warning that there are unsynched activities that will get compressed. But what I think happened is that the activity was compressed while still recording it, rather than as a result of me recording a second one. But getting a warning in either case would help me to decide. I have a phone with me on really long activities, which would be the only reasonable situation for the watch running out of memory like that. Now, what I am interested in, is whether I have a chance to get the GPS details of the activity of the watch or whether I can confirm whether it is compressed and I should give up. I have an FKT that I need to prove and feel rather ignored by Suunto support.

@Brad_Olwin said in New to Suunto and so many questions: The time to POI or arrival is estimated on the route drawn. That is indeed a big improvement. Thanks for the info. I concur with the later comment on overall this being one step forward and three back, at least as routes and waypoints are currently implemented on post-Ambit devices. @david-hirst said in New to Suunto and so many questions: @Mike-Green DCrainmaker has is product comparison tool https://www.dcrainmaker.com/product-comparison-calculator?type=watch&ids=87895%2C11376#results This may give you some idea, but I fear that with firmware updates this maybe out of date and only relevant at the time of the product review. Thanks. I fear the same. There’s certainly a degree of risk in using that tool, or at least in relying on it, though it’s still useful as a guide.
