@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

@Posse96 , I’d first check if Suunto accounts used for Suunto App and Suuntolink are the same. To verfiy, follow screenshots in this post - https://forum.suunto.com/topic/7720/gpx-importing-to-ambit3-vertical-not-syncing/2 And an easy way to check activities on your Suunto account is though https://www.sports-tracker.com/ , log in with the username and password you used in Suuntolink on your computer and check if those treks are there. If your issue is not related to different accounts, perhaps you can be bit more specific - currently one might get an idea that you are only having problems with your treks while all other activities sync just fine. So maybe add when was the last successful sync (months / weeks ago) or is this the first time you are trying to sync your activities with Suuntolink. By “update” you mean software update? If yes, I guess this watch hasn’t been used (for recording & syncing activities ) for a long time as last software update for Traverse was released 5 years ago and every time you’d connect it to Suuntolink (or old Moveslink2 ) during past 5 years you’d be either forced to update the software or at least get an annoying notification to do so. This also means that pulling activities from watches that are still running prior software versions is quite rare use case and must be one of the least tested functions and it’s more likely to fail. Updating software should also clear activities from the watch, if you open logbook in your Traverse, do you still have a list of your treks there? If they are there, syncing again will not be an issue. If logbook is empty, your best bet is that Suuntolink was able to sync it and you are just having some Suunto App and/or account issues or that the trek data is still stuck in your computer. Suuntolink files, at least in Windows, can be found at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Suuntolink , log-files there should provide some insight of what happened (i.e. was the sync successful) and suuntolink_data.jsonfile keeps track of your activities that were sent to your Suunto account . If there are any files in Suuntolink\logbook , back those up and store somewhere safe, it might be still possible to recover those treks.

As an update after some additional research, it does appear that the Suunto App is designed to show the Dive Profile. The following image is taken from Suunto’s website related to their D5 dive computer and shows the graph in the move details. Ultimately, it is odd as the FIT files are directly from the Suunto App, via import from Movescount, and they do contain the dive profile data. I’m not sure if I’m doing something stupid that is preventing the graph from showing up in the app or if it is something on Suunto’s end with importing from Movescount. @Danny-poleg Suunto doesn’t have one, but they do partner with Hammerhead. https://www.suunto.com/en-nl/Support/faq-articles/partners/how-to-get-started-with-karoo-2/ The integration is so-so.

@blitzbayer Basic weather info is saved with your activity in Suunto App and you can use tags for the bike you used. Maybe connect to partner services like Runalyze to have more options. (Select user profile-> partner services)

@John-Pullin said in Crop route.: Why isn’t it possible to crop a route in the Suunto app? Well because unfortunately it’s not. Anyway since this topic has been discussed several times, I’m closing this thread to avoid duplicates. If you use the search function you’ll find the other discussions

@far-blue The app does not support this nor does SA support weight tracking at all. This has been requested before as you can see from a simple search. I am closing this one. https://forum.suunto.com/search?term=weight&in=titlesposts&matchWords=all&categories[]=13&sortBy=relevance&sortDirection=desc&showAs=posts

@OnlyoneKenobi there is some discussion here which might help you: https://forum.suunto.com/post/135707 In short, your best option is to also record your activity with your Suunto watch as well as with your head unit and skip the syncing with rungap.

@Elipsus The funny thing is that when I provide feedback on the Suunto App (iOS beta), I can add screenshots and write what I observed. Maybe this functionality is part of https://apps.apple.com/de/app/testflight/id899247664 and not the Suunto App, but what you want is demonstrated in TestFlight/Suunto beta on iOS.

@peter_xy Very interesting. I will add mine. It seems that in Android, you can select an activity in the map using the small circle of the beginning. That is not the case in iOS, where you need to look for the activity elsewhere. Then, if you are looking at a certain activity in a certain place, but you do not remember when did you do it, it is very difficult to find (imagine a mountain activity to find the route, etc.)

@mando and you have summarized the tag features very well. Currently there is no way to delete or rename tags. Especially bad if you introduced typos. Has been requested quite often. For tagging races, I recommend to introduce a separate tag that does not overlap with others as you found. Autotagging is in place currently for commutes (if enabled), and the cardiovascular type of the workout (aerobic, anaerobic, VO2max)

Today I encounter the same issue. In all other platforms i can view the fit file but not in Suunto. Now my indoor sessies are not added in my training overview. Which is quote a bummer. Can one modify fit files? Or why is suunto not viewing them?
