@Peter-Wilcox Depending on what you are doing you can also use the google fit app (strenth training work out). It will auto detect the exercise (sit up, press up, curls etc) - if it doesn’t detect it you can add the exercise and it often will then auto-detect it going forward (depends on the action). It will auto-detect the number of reps and sets (you can also manually adjust if mis-counts) If using weights you can add that weight used. And between each set there is an interval time which you, skip, change etc. Afterwards google fit will show each exercise, number of sets and reps. May or may not suite depending on what you are doing.

@aleksander-h Tested again tonight, you’re right - if I ignore the auto lap when it buzzes, and then look at screen a couple of minutes later, the notification doesn’t pop up. Still wish that “let me show you what you missed” timer was a LOT shorter than it is though! If I look at the screen 10 seconds after a vibration whilst running, chances are I already don’t care about what I was being alerted to, otherwise I would have looked sooner.

@trinitao its the language, try changing and you will see results.i shifted mine from UK English to US English and haven’t had issues like that. I think it is something to do with how a phrase is worded. GA on wear os is a very basic version on the phone, and often has to be very specifically worded to get a response i.e. for opening apps somtimes Open X will work, other apps may require start X ,and others may require lauch X, some with work with all 3 some with a combination and some only with specific. GA is a bit of a mess on wear os.

Anch’io mi chiedevo la stessa cosa, in realtà Suunto 7 può emettere dei suoni, per esempio negli auto lap durante le attività sportive, perché la sveglia non può? Non ci sono app di terze parti con sveglia che suona? Anche se la vibrazione effettivamente è molto forte personalmente preferirei anche il suono, una volta non mi sono svegliato…

@brad_olwin - that is what the ambient screen is for. Plus could give flexibility in ambient screen i.e. whether shows complications, whether in colour or not etc, whether second hand active or not etc. etc. etc. While I do love the suunto watch faces, they could be so much better with ability to customize i.e. change colours etc, shape/size of hands, hour markers etc.

Hello, sorry that I go back to this topic… I still have this doubt. How my S7 obtain this data? I’m really suprised because some of these are very close to the reallity but can’t understand how the device calculate/get this. Thanks in advance,

@aeroild sorry for the late reply, yes all of a sudden confirmations works from the watch.

@p3079 when you reset you do not lose the updates you have done, you just lose any data etc on the watch - so make sure that you sync prior to doing this step. Once you have done it, you will have pair the watch to your new phone, which will initiate the whole set up process again. If you have correctly set yourself up most if not all your details should be backed up and should come through when your set up. All you should need to do is install any apps that you previously installed and want to keep on the watch.

@michaelw - you don’t have to enter your profile into google fit - it will work without it, especially as suunto provides the suunto app for fitness tracking which is loads better than GFit offering. Would suggest removing your profile from GFit and just use Suunto. Then its just your wear os profile - which is same level of data you already provide for your phone.

@Embrun-0 Vos parcours sont privés (si vous avez bien paramétré), mais la première page de l’appli Suunto est une sorte de réseau social et vous montre ce que d’autres personnes ont publié comme activités publiques. Il n’y a aucun risque (pour vous) mais juste aucun moyen de faire autrement. Oubliez cette première page et regardez vos activités sur les pages calendrier ou sur votre profil (cliquez sur votre photo de profil).

@BinoWorld-UK not sure re non-duplicating maps - but think he is probably referencing more around his own maps. In terms of Garmin maps no you don’t have to uninstall - you should be able to select what you want to use and disable what you don’t want to use - sorry can’t 100% confirm that is still there -was on the F6x but map set up is slightly different on F7/E2 in that all in the region now, and haven’t yet downloaded a different region so can’t tell if you can still toggle them on/off as requried.
