@surfboomerang Been wearing one of these since December and no breaks. I have had the pin holding one strap to the other pop off in the car. Luckily I found it.

@marvelmike take a look at NPE’s CABLE product: it at least allows you to create a virtual bike POD from - for example - the cadence data stream from your power/cadence sensor and a separate speed sensor. I got a refurbished one for $39. The limitation of only one bike POD is gorydamn annoying, as is the limitation of only one HR or power sensor. It’s the biggest change I’d like to see in our watches: multiple sensor types.

@bnorthrop I contacted Suunto customer support about buying extra spring bars for the 9 Peak and was told that they don’t currently sell them but would email me if they do start.

Is anyone at Suunto debugging this issue? I think this is a reason to get a refund if such basic feature does not work properly or either in the user manual there needs to be a notificaton that the alarm may not work as expected. Currently, there is a clear flaw in the software.

@isazi Hmm, altitude is usually off by about 100 m (too low). Happened in various locations. I’m not too worried about that, because in activities or when not turning the watch off, it’s all good.

This is support advice. Especially good in winter “hmmm może proszę spróbować najpierw pochodzić w wodzie, zanurzyć zegarek, i dopiero wtedy włączyć tryb “pływanie” - może musi “załapać” tak samo jak z GPS na zewnątrz” “hmmm, maybe please try to go in the water first, immerse the watch, and then turn on the “swimming” mode - maybe it has to “catch” the same as with GPS outside” [image: 1649929749602-signal-2022-04-14-114734.png]

@orzechszek said in Access to stopwatch during an excercise.: Hello, Is it possible to use a stopwatch during an excercise? To run it like other options with a middle key when I’m training. To add to answers above. I’m genuinely curious how you’re planning on using an additional stopwatch during activities. Maybe there’s another solution for you. Technically just starting/pausing an activity and looking at elapsed time has a similar function as a stopwatch… But if there’s a more specialized use case, maybe a custom sport mode field with lap timer works, like others said above. But if your activity requires a fully functional stopwatch (start/pause/reset) then it’s almost like you’re tracking an activity inside another activity.

Do you use some bluetooth device (heart rate sensor)? If the issue happens again, can you check the assisted GPS status? Just to verify if the isuue is a ramdom crash and reboot of the watch

@t1sugar yep it might take a while to get Suunto’s velcro strap for SP9 if we ever do as I recall @NickK showed off a nice nylon strap for his S9P, and he said on that thread " Easy! Just search Amazon (or your local electronic flea market of choice) for 22mm nylon loop band. I think Etsy has even better selection."
