    @isazi I contacted Suunto support but I only received the meaningless answer that this might be an error and it has never happened before for anyone else So the usual unhelpful stuff you get from service…

    @jmoneygrip so after having an issue with wrist hr reading locking to a high bpm when slowly walking, I read and took on board a few suggestions by forum users and it has made the difference. 1: I did a 12second reset (just in case after the firmware update) 2: probably the suggestion that’s made the difference: I really tightened up the watch whilst doing a gentle walk and had good, expected and consistent wrist hr readings. I have a feeling the slighter cooler weather did reduce my readable hr flow through the wrist or shrank the wrist slight so that the watch wasn’t making that solid connection, fingers crossed. I use a chest strap for anything other than a gentle walk so its a minor thing anyway but its always nice to know you have the accuracy on the wrist when you need it. Thanks fellow forum users and mods for the thoughts and suggestions around wrist hr accuracy.

    @ramrod Garmin Fenix (and a lot of other models) have a Breathwork activity, which includes around 5 different exercises. The exercises are guided by vibration (only issue is that sometimes you can barely feel it, as they alter the vibration depending on whether its an inhale, exhale or hold). The range from 5mins to 16mins; only pity is that you cannot create your own plan and sync it. Measures Stress (HRV) impact, respiration rate (not sure why as not your normal rate, but useful to see if you are syncing correctly according to the planned breath rate, stress, and HR (SPO2 isn’t recorded - as per other comments - though I suppose you could take a manual reading prior and post activity). If your stress gets too high you will get a notification and suggestion to run a breathwork activity. Personally I tend to run them prior to bed, as do find it reduces my time to fall asleep, and also have better stress levels during my sleep.

    @optics-field-test said in Alti / Baro not getting it right: In your case, perhaps set you watch to manual tracking only the Barometer and monitor. I am afraid you might have to wait a bit for the next big L pressure. its been a while since I used my Ambit 3 peak, but i am sure the Peak handles Alti/baro functions differently in that you cant choose the priority of either it just runs in the background fully automated. thinking about this I may even be thinking how the observer handled alti / baro functions, but that is going back near 15 years;

    @mff73 yes. But bugs are prioritized. I have no idea when and if this one will be dealt with. Just saying that it is on the list.

    @isazi agree, I did that and I don’t notice a higher battery consumption. 24/7 HR and frequent activity have a much higher impact than backlight IMHO

    @thanasis said in 9 Peak Fitness Age increasing: I think that’s one of the reasons this may not be working that well might be that it is over measuring the calories for some exercises. I have a constant feeling that it gives me higher a number. When compared to other devices, it tends to give me 30 to 50% higher which to be honest, does not seem correct. Because it includes metabolic calories in the total.

    @Ramrod That is so the watch can connect rapidly to the satellites to update position. It is not for setting time and allows a much more accurate start to the GPS track.

    @Regis-Letowski-0 même si tu as déjà changé la pile, il peut être bon de la changer de nouveau. Peut-être une mauvaise coincidence d’une pile neuve “défaillante”. Sinon, n’aurais-tu pas appairé ce capteur avec un autre appareil, qui prendrait la connexion et donc ta montre ne pourrais pas s’y connecter ?

    @dimitrios-kanellopoulos said in SUUNTO 9 PEAK HR , Oximeter measurement and graph issues: if you reboot the watch at rest the 24/7 chart is wiped out. For the pulse oxymeter make sure its 2 fingers hight and the strap is NOT tight The resources reset to 50% after a reboot On the workout try to again not have the watch too tight. It just needs to snug What do you mean by Hight? close to hand or close to arm?

    @dimitrios-kanellopoulos Thanks, I’ll drain the battery completely and see if this helps.

    Re: gps stuffs an update of my GPS settings for past 2 weeks. switched to Galileo for a week and no difference. I was cycling outdoors and did not go to any building, GPS signal got lost. and then a straight line again. this did not happen before. (cycling on roads and parks) several times when i tilt to look at my watch, i see that the speed is ---- and i would know that my signal was lost. comparing running and cycling. running have steps and the watch still clocks my “mileage”. but cycling activity totally stops counting once gps signal is lost. means i lost my distance at the same time. my signal did not recover after near 3-4-5km away, and i did pause the watch and stopped for 5mins+ to let it “recover / search” but made no difference. loss signal. switched to GPS only today, big difference! started my run and 25 seconds later, gps signal lost! im still outdoors and running my usual route which doesnt happen before. while i continue my run, gps signal came back after 4mins. then lost signal again at 39mins, regain signal at 42mins. lost signal again at 46mins, regain at 49mins. resetting my watch now to see what happens next. may send to my service centre if this is isolated issue.

    @piotr-grygiel The OP did not post about temperatures but about the watch stopping mid-exercise, which is a much more serious bug. The bug the OP posted has been fixed as I stated.

    Mine stoped charging completely . I think (hope also ) it is related to the charging cable. I will try to charge it by contacting the pins directly from a 5v usb output but I am quite concerned eventually I may have to buy a new cable or a new watch …

    @isazi I’m doing indoor cycling regularly and don’t have this issue. Once or twice I had lower HR for the first few minutes but I think that I started the activity immediately without waiting for HR indicator to stabilize first… When I wait for it to get stable, than it works OK.
