I have the problem, that the suunto app is not syncing any steps apple, it worked for two days, since then no sync. I already tried to delete and relink the apps. didin’t help. The Settings should be correct (see screenshorts) Using Iphone 12pro on newest iOS and Sunnto 9 and App are also on the newest version.[image: 1707726683340-photo_2024-02-12_09-30-15.jpg] [image: 1707726683354-photo_2024-02-12_09-30-14.jpg] [image: 1707726683371-photo_2024-02-12_09-30-13.jpg] [image: 1707726683379-photo_2024-02-12_09-30-10.jpg]

@tonyg I had (and sill have sometimes) that behavior in my S9P, before and after the update. It is usually solved if I wait some time in the activity screen before starting. Last weekend I had that problem during an easy walk in the mountain, but was clearly caused by the watch positioned in other place. It slowly went back to a more normal HR. Just sharing my experience with the S9P

@ventus7022 I think it works well if your watch is connected to the Suunto App while deleting the route.

@df130 @inkognito That sounds similar to what I am experiencing and yes autolap is off. Default settings for “basic” activity. No heart rate zone target chosen. I can’t find anywhere that says what the watch is trying to tell me.

google tells me that DST in US is from March 14 2am to November 7 2am so we have another week in the states with savings time on. Another reason for DST to be abolished…everyone has a different date range that it is active for…

@richjod not sure, it’s up to Suunto to decide when. Hopefully soon.

the “dark” in the manual is most likely referring to the backlight, not the information on the screen. No worries, Suunto’s sports watches are designed to always show information (watch face in standby). Different than smart watches like the apple watch (or the Suunto 7), this dows not cause additional battery consumption and is the way it is supposed to be.

Thanks, I do not have the requirements to use the trainer with a watch I care more about recording the effort on one platform so that I can control the training load in a longer period. probably the best solution will be to connect a heart rate monitor with the watch and the trainer but not always the trainer supports 2 bluetooth devices (basically only a wahoo can do this!). Power and cadence information from the trainer on the watch would be appreciated of course.

I had a really bad gps experience today also . I did Snap to route to align it during the expertise but it was also terrible and the distance and the metrics are all over the place . Actually a 5km shows (snapped to route ) as 3,8km . During the run the device the auto pause was enabled even though I had a 5:30/km pace . The average he pace shows 6.05m/km and the NGP as 7:23…

@wotus logs help Suunto developers to dig into data trying to find the root cause and eliminate potential bugs… it doesn’t help you directly. soon after sending logs you need to let Suunto close people know the time when you’ve sent the logs and from what mail address (connected account). I’ve also had very strange things happening with my watch. Fortunately not repeatedly. let’s hope your observation was a one time issue

@Panagiotis-Kritikakos The watch will ask to change battery modes when the battery is low and provide you with estimated battery times for each mode. It does this automatically to help save the activity. In addition, if battery is very low the watch will cease GPS recording but continue recording time and I believe altitude changes so you still have a record of the event even if GPS track is lost.
