As @isazi says, you need to do the firmware update and possibly restart things, i had this with all 3 watches and when all updates was do e the shop showed me the watch faces.

@Sascha-Domres Thank you for your remarks. I don’t want to risk falling down when running while looking at the map. At the same time I want to keep the stats of my run as correct as possible. If I stop to pan the map and plan my next move, I don’t want the watch to record the activity as if I was running. This makes the map a bit pointless if I can’t work with them when an activity is paused. I hope Suunto will come with new firmware to enable panning the map while an activity is paused. I support your suggestion to extend the zooming possibilities. Is there any special thread or group where people could make such suggestions and Suunto developers would see what are the most poignant concerns? I hope they visit the forum anyway, but I’d expect a special thread/voting for the most preferred requests. Thanks.

@deserthike20 Thank you. At first this was exactly what I did and it didn’t help, unpairing the Suuntoapp only from the watch. However, I was in the end lucky enough to use an OTG reduction to connect a USB mouse to the old mobile phone. With that and a lot of patience I somehow unlocked the screen, launched the Suuntoapp and unpaired the watch. No records lost, job done, relief. This discussion thread could be archived.

@isazi Resume function would also be nice in the case of a sudden freeze/reboot of the watch. A long time ago I had a Garmin and during a workout it crashed (happened only once). After restart I could simply resume the activity and no data was lost.

Now it’s constantly in the 60-70% range. I have no idea why. Would be great to have insight how this is calculated and if the algorithm is different compared to S9PP

@markeczzz interesting observation. Do you have an idea what could be different for the watch when you are climbing? The watch is basically trying detect the capillary blood flow. Bad measurements could come from a too tight strap (blood flow interrupted), a to loose strap (watch shaking and thus variation in the optical path), cold temperatures (capillaries have less blood), using poles (introducing rythmic vibrations of the watch), tatoos, etc. What parameter (within arm/watch) are changing when you climb? Maybe you can observe anything?

@smopi said in Personalize sport modes: It is my first post, so let mi say “hello” to whole Suunto Community! @Mitch9 , I had such issue once. I had to uninstall Suunto App and, as I remember I restarted my SV too. This bug never reappeared again. Reinstalled SA more than once, but didn’t help. I hoped for new SV update. Now I sent logs.

Okay. Found it. Thanks! https://www.suunto.com/de-de/sports/News-Articles-container-page/boost-your-hill-training-with-suunto-plus-climb/ Since I trained in relatively flat terrain and the climb-app needs 10 meters of ascent to start a climb, it looked somehow random to me.

I tried again today with a new activity profile and autolap disabled and it worked as desired! I can reproduce the issue now. If I have a profile with autolap enabled and select it, then go through the menu and toggle autolap off, and then start the workout, manual laps won’t show in lap data fields. But if I load a profile that has autolaps already off by default, manual laps are reflected in lap data fields correctly. So if I change the autolap setting, I need to exit to the watchface and reload the profile to get it working all the way.

@BrunoH said in Location cannot be found: @freeheeler Max might be talking about the route planner; a blue dot appears on the app map showing your current location. And the dot appears fast! @maxthetravelor With a smartphone it’s a bit different than with your watch. The phone is using also cell tower triangulation to determine your location in addition to the satellite transmissions. Also the phone probably has better gps antenna, faster CPU and overall better capacity to do these calculations. I live up north in Finland and even with the AGPS file up-to-date in my watch it usually takes 30 seconds to get the location fix. You are trying it out on a balcony, that might be challenging for the watch with the satellite transmissions bouncing from the walls. You see, it takes minimum three individual satellite signals to pinpoint a location. You must be patient and take a walk with your watch. That’s what it is for Sorry to say but since ambit 2 times, if my watches were synchronized with Suunto app or suuntolink they would never take 30sec to lock. Much less.
