@Olaf-D what you describe is a watch reset to factory state, it should not happen after a normal firmware update. Forget your watch in the app, maybe reboot your phone, and it should work.
@klodovic I had this with the iPhone. Go to BT disable completely the BT and restart the phone. If this does not help go to connectivity in the watch and remove the paired mobile app. Re-pair again.

customizable (for me altitude would be a more interesting field than remaining distance)
@Medic1559 a little bit of research before the purchase could have saved you from a lot of surprises.
My guess is that you’re coming from a Suunto Traverse. As far as I know this was/is the only watch with a red backlight.The vertical doesn’t have one.
You can’t increase the font on the watch face. In activity recording you can create a custom sportmode and define less fields. This will result in bigger fonts
There is no store for watch faces. The ones in the watch are the only one
Coordinate format options are still the same

They created a structured workout which uploaded as a Guide, then after a few syncs it woke up the plus apps list
