@MRC01 I have the same issue in certain situations I need an analogue watch face to measure time. So either having an analogue timer or have the display showing seconds for longer would be helpful.

@Wilson75 I can’t find any reference to it anywhere else when I searched, it is a big thread though tbh! I guess it will come via some update to squash bugs on this latest update maybe

@gerasimos many thanks, I searched but didn’t spot that discussion so, it should be safe, since the charger must provide 5V as default, unless the attached device asks for more

Thanks @Brad_Olwin! I agree. Considering the paces when running a long time, all GNSS systems with one band should be more than enough. Let’s say for a 100 miler. I’m now remembering that even with an FR935 (back in 2017), that only had GPS (no GNSS, no multiband and without maps) I was able to get pretty accurate “out of route” notifications while running 100 kilometers. Those notifications were everything I wanted in 2017. The Race S lasts 60 hours in those conditions, or even perhaps more. We want more accurate tracks in 2024 than those we were used to have years ago but it’s really impressive what is being accomplished in a watch of this size.

@Tieutieu thanks… the App update helps. Now the sections of the route are colour-coded.

Hi. I also get that the touch do not respond on my vertical but it happens also after ending an activity. It stays unresponsive for a while and then it comes back. I do not know for how long though. Once I tried a soft reset and it works again. But I do not want to do a soft reset when it happens since some values restarts. I’m in Norway hiking and want my Baro trend. But it has happened several times during one week now.

@Pilok Hi, I am using a Suunto Race also and the installed SW version is 2.37.34 and I had this issue on a ride this week too. This was quite annoying since I wasn’t familiar with the track I did, so I depended on a working navigation. Since I was off-road in the woods on single trails I relied on a working navigation feature. But the map zoomed out to 20km and I had to zoom-in again to find the right way. Did rebooting the watch really solved the issue? BTW I planned the route with Komoot and synced it to my watch. No idea if this was the reason for this behavior? regards Roland

The sleep is working very good now. In fact the watch can resume sleep if I wake Up to go to the bathroom and naps are working very good. It is the best sleep tracking I have ever had. Much better than the tracking of the Vertical and even Garmin.

@Greengarden I think the Race is a new enough model for Suunto to release its replacement. The Race S in titanium is a good bet. I could even think of some sort of new Vertical S. But a Race 2.0 would be very surprising to me.

@filippopesce78 I’ve had the same issue. For some reason two days ago my suunto race won’t sync with the suunto app. I’ve tired resetting the bluetooth, removing and reconnecting via bluetooth. My phone sees my Race and is connected but the app won’t sync. Is this a known issue?

@isazi said in Error in daylight calculation: This has already been reported (it happens close to the arctic circle) and should be fixed in 2024. Until the end of 2024 theres enough time to fix it Hope also for a fix for the battery drain Problem!

Look in your activity tally. For mine anyway, steps taking during a run activity are showing in the daily step count. Steps are a terrible metric anyway, as not all steps are equal. Use activity time per week as a better goal

@Brad_Olwin Hello Brad I’m not in agreement with you why ? first of all the crown is already unlocked when buttons are lock, you can always click on it to navigate from one screen to the other secondly what I’m suggesting is to unlock the rolling of the crown when you are on the specifi map screen so that the zoom IN and OUT can operate. such a feature does not damage in any manner anything. We should come back to the original reason why the buttons were locked The sole danger of not having button locked is that in the middle of an exercise and exactly as you said the poles or a press by your clothes could stop accidenatly the recording. this is the sole big danger that you may encounter. It happened to me mutiple time with my SUUNTO 9 baro when I was forgetting to lock the buttons. Apart that, OK for sure it might not be enjoying to see the screen on another one but there is no danger. in reverse locking the button and firbidding by such a zoom in and out is again creatign danger, if you want to zoom in/out you will be obliged to unlock and not only you loose time but also you take the risk to forget to lock again or to do a wrong manpulation Hence fo me the current lock is perfect except on the map, here the rolling to zoom in and out should work also in a locked button mode which I hope you will agree with me is not a big change versus what we have already today and you are also requesting
