@claudiotereso Alright thanks! Hopefully this difficult fix will be the solution :). It’s weird that this is not stated anywhere (at least I cannot find it).

@far-blue No problem. I made research and found interesting solution All is here: https://youtu.be/a_LR1oula_0?si=WlHVB7TmKjmmyJZm I found proper link to calculators described in movie (web page has changed): https://www.8020endurance.com/80-20-zone-calculator/ Today after running test with 3 and 9 minutes intervals I had all data and adjusted all. Should be OK.

@Mirek_R Try charging it fully then doing a soft-reset (hold the upper button for 12 seconds) and see if it fixes the drain issue. The main trigger for the bug that drains the battery seems to be when you start an activity with navigation (with a route, not just breadcrumb). A soft reset fixes the issue until the next time you use a route. If the battery drain is still there after a soft reset, talk to customer services and you can prob. send the watch back for a replacement or repair.

@Brad_Olwin Dear Brad! Where can I find this screen in my Race S watch? I try to determine power zones for running but I don’t see app or screen which shows running power. I have found only FTP Test app for bicycle but also showed me nothing during bicycle ride. I run almost every day and application indicates TSS by (p) - and my power findings from chart are not correct. And today after 14km long run in 2 zone Sunto app clasified it as anaerobic what is not true. Maybe I am missing something but power zones are my problem now. Please let me know, how solve it.

@Krawuzi said in Faulty screen: I have the same issue. One week my Race S worked perfectly and suddenly, after loading it the system started to collaps frequently. Soft reset didn´t work. Text is: ERROR 1403,1403 SW-Version 2.37.34 Also setting it back to Factory setting doesn´t help. The “support” is practically not existing. The “chat” on the homepage not working. Talking to an AI not helping and referring to a support number that doesn´t exist. Can anyone here help me? The best thing is that you send it for repair, I do not have a link but I’m sure you will find it in Suunto’s web page.

@UB2Run If you build a workout in TP, and the apps are synchronized, the workout will appear on your watch

@sky-runner you are right, this guide is not something that you can install, it is something that is there if you have Strava Premium and starred segments, no way to manually install it. As for the amount of segments that can be stored, not sure, there is probably a limit but I am not aware of the number.

Anecdotally, Garmin, Wahoo, and Karoo will all tell me, sometimes, to turn left when it’s clearly a right turn, or to take the wrong number of exits on a roundabout. I’ve noticed it when driving with Google and Apple Maps, too: I think we as a species have not learned how to correctly explain turn directions.

@vietpq the watch cannot really see if your eyes are open or closed. It also does not really know if you are still partly dreaming or already fully awake. In reality sleeping is not a digital 1-0 state. The watch only has measurement data of your pulse and of the watch movement. If for example your pulse rises 1 hour before you actually are awake to a state to look at the time, and maybe you move your arm above a threshold amount and time, then the watch will have to conclude that you are awake.

@sky-runner said in Has anyone tried using Garmin UltraFit nylon band with Race S?: That would require a pair of spring bars. Can those be bought separately? Yes, I have done this and it works well. Not with Race S but with Race, Vertical and Ocean.

On the topic of charging cables… Would be great to have a “puck” with the USB C port on a side. Amazfit’s new watch will have something like this available (or already available, not sure…). Currently, there are no aftermarket solutions available, unless I have missed it… [image: 1726225128447-screenshot-2024-09-13-114946.png]
