@Matěj-Novotný I sync all my data to intervals.icu as it is better tool for analysing activites, loging gear usage, seting zones and so on. So I import activity to SA, which is then synced to intervals.icu where TSS (Load) is calculated and then I set maunal TSS back in SA.

@emilia_v non gli ho scritto. Credo sia un problema firmware. Se gli scrivi ti dicono di fare il soft reset.

@Android-Lolipop said in Firmware missing function-HR alerts/map data/custom batery modes: During navigation, having the map show how many kilometers I still have to go is pretty much useless. It would be much better if I could turn that off or, ideally, replace it with something more useful like heart rate, speed, or pace. AFAIK it is not possible to display HR on map but you can create custom sport mode with multiple screens. These screens are customizable, you can add heart rate, average HR, pace, speed, average speed and a lot of other metrics. Yes, you will need to switch between map and screens but it is just one button click.

@Federico I had the same problems with sleep recording. It started to work about one week after I enabled the 24/7 HR measurement and sleep recording. No idea about VO2 max, though. I suppose it also depends on the sport you practice and the HR max you reach and for how long. For example, VO2 won’t be recorded if you do walking or other low HR activities. Another solution is just to change watch. I have had Suunto for 20 years now, and I am really fed up with them. I gave back last year 1 Suunto 9 and 1 Suunto 9 plus because of quite unreliable HR measurements and totally crazy open water swimming GPS tracks. The last decent Suunto was the Ambit 3 Peak, which I still have. A. bit outdated, bulky and very uncomfortable to wear, however reliable and with decent measurements.

@ET3PO Thank you all. I managed to activate the vibration feedback. I’ll write another post at the SuuntoPlus forum as it is related to that topic and not watch specific.

I searched on the shop, the new model should be the one labelled ATH6, that is SUUNTO 22MM ATHLETIC 6 SILICONE STRAP, it’s a pity they are that expensive, by comparing with the price of the watch itself we have: 1 Race S = 6 ATH6 straps (!)

@rizojm is this even possible to do accurately with any watch? I’ve not heard of it without needing GPS on.

@DianeB, Suunto should solve this aspect to improve user experience. We can’t predict when turning off will be needed and the reasons, specially for a multi-sport watch that covers “radical sports”, at least for me. It should be add an automatic counter (timer) triggered when we turn on the watch, then after syncing, based in the current time minus the counter it is possible to know the exact time the watch was turned on.

@sky-runner said in Turn notifications are confusing, borderline misleading: That information should be displayed at the bottom of the map instead. as of the current aoftware release, the information is displayed at the bottom tooth for TBT mode in every sceeen - at least when I was using it. Notification at the turn is still for the next turn obviously. So half the issue you have is gone, but one part still remains.

@Brad_Olwin outdoor accuracy is reported as well more consistently accurate than GPS on road surfaces - that’s definitely my experience based on on a certified track. On trails, sand etc it’s a different matter.

@nhojb said in Race S pool swim accuracy got really bad: I pool swim very regularly and up until the last update distance / length accuracy has been great. Since my watch updated to 2.39.44 a couple of days ago accuracy has got really, really bad. For example I did a 1040m swim yesterday and it measured 700m. Today I did 1240m and it registered even less distance. Previously it was pretty much bang on. Seems like a serious regression. Anyone else having similar issues? Yes. The update brought a lot of bad changes. It broke the distance measurement, swimming style reading and interval splitting.
