@isazi But what I find questionable is that Gohst notification still exists. The sleep tracking does not even recognize wake times. All problems that have existed since the first S9 and have still not been solved.

@Kurt68 there are no ghost notifications anymore. Everything old and left over from a watch connection interruption is deleted 48h or so.
There is no way for a wrist based device to detect if your eyes are open or closed while lying in bed.
If you start walking around at night, the watch will detect it.

@Egika Algorithmically there is a way - how do you think Garmin and Polar are able to detect the sleep hours (forget about the stages). The sleep data I get from the S9B are near useless. If I enter by bed time at 10pm, the watch assumes I am asleep at sharp 10, whether the watch is on me or not. If I go to bed at 11, it assumes I go to bed at 10. S9B’s detection is an outlier here, atleast for me.

S9B is, for me, a bit inaccurate, that’s true. but it is not as bad as you describe. I wear my watch relatively loose, that doesn’t help, I know. But it detects when I go to sleep early or late and when I get up

@altcmd For me it’s the opposite, my 9B is almost always spot on.

@el2thek Not for me. 10 to 7 is a bit suspiciously accurate as per my sleep time input and alarm time. IMG_0091.jpeg

@Egika I realize that not everything is recognized, but that she recognizes non-compliance when I go to the toilet is strange. The only thing I noticed about the Gohst notificaen is that they are still there. That they are deleted after a certain time is not perfect but acceptable.

Sleep tracking set from 22:00-08:00. Very interesting how different the experience is. Wonder what the cause is.

@el2thek Interesting indeed. Not sure what is the issue here. Hopefully it is not the case with S9PP.

@altcmd Hi. New S9PP here. I have it set for 10:30pm sleep and 7am wake. Last night shows fell asleep 10:46, and woke up 7:20, which is very accurate.!Screenshot_20221103-124724.png

@mikekoski490 do you also have HR gaps during the night? think it was said before it’s a known issue being iron out at firmware side. 🤔

In my case, HR reading gaps during the night are huge.

@herlas wonder if its the sensor moving away from wrist because of sleep position etc or loose band

@altcmd for me, most days Suunto and Oura are in perfect accord about how much I sleep, and my HR at night.

@herlas yes they are being investigated, and there is going to be a new S9PP software release in, I guess, late 2022 or early 2023.

@herlas Hi. I just looked and yes, last night there were 2 gaps in HR readings, but the night before none. I’m sure Suunto will fix it if it’s a known issue?

Here are past 3 nights, not working as expected for me at all, and previous nights are about the same.

Watch is not too loose or not too tight, looks like HR sensor goes to sleep with me too 😂

@herlas Wow. Those are large gaps. Screenshots from SA below. The first one is 24-hour HR history from yesterday, and the second a snapshot of the gaps last night. For yesterday the early morning gap was watch was off my wrist and on the charger. Not sure what caused the rest of the gaps though.
