@freeheeler @DMytro Thanks for your replies. I guess I didn’t worry as much as I’m annoyed by the lag when pushing the buttons to start an activity. So, impatiently waiting for the next update.

Now that March is over, where in the iOS app I can see how much CO2 I saved during my walking commutes in March?

I wish Suunto would publish the change log of the upcoming update as Garmin does. I like that you know what to expect:

@skifun Suunto does not provide public beta builds. The change log is published when the update is released.

There are a large number of reasons why they do not. I can give you more information if you want. PM me.

I’m just not interested in the reasons they don’t publish upcoming change logs. It is what it is. But if they publish the change log itself, I’ll gladly read it.

Part of the reason is testing involves features that may or may not make a release depending on the amount of testing that is done. Sometimes a feature breaks the firmware in unexpected ways or simply does not work well enough. Or there are other unforeseen problems. So publishing features being tested will only disappoint as some features may be cut from a firmware release. Suunto does a lot of field testing to ensure new hardware and new firmware is as bug free as possible.

@Brad_Olwin Thanks for the explanation. Makes sense to me.
On a side note: let’s hope the maps won’t break the firmware of Suunto Vertical 🤞

@Dušan-Ković plenty, but I lost track of them, so let’s wait for the official announce on release day. Everything that is on the Vertical and does not require new hardware, will end up in the S9PP. Except the new watch face, that at least for now is Vertical only.
