@Kramble for sure titanium version will be a bit less sensible to scratches…but anyway I would conclude this way : If your suunto doesn’t have sratches, push harder and bring it further. It is an adventure device !

So true, but it still hurts when your watch gets scratched.

You’re right, when your watch scratches it often means your arm was hurt !!

@Hristijan-Petreski
routes stored in SA are also available to sync to the watch without network afairProbably a dumb question but for routes that are already in my SA for my S9, when I sync those to my Vertical I assume they get the full colour map treatment? Or will that not happen for the routes I created ages ago?
-
@MiniForklift
Routes and maps are different layers on the same view, as far as I’ve understood.
So I don’t expect any “issues” -
@MiniForklift, maps are independant from routes. You could/can use your vertical with no maps at all
-
Before anyone panics that’s in New Zealand dollars, not American. So now I guess we wait

-
@taziden the real question is here, in the comments:
Can it run Doom ?How many FPS for Doom ? -

Think of it this way, you’re paying $1,000 to ship a heavily discounted watch. Worth it, no?

Any issues with ‘ghost notifications’ with the Vertical? That’s always been a bit of a PITA with my S9B

-
And straps?

-
@sartoric Not commenting on the comment
but the GBP price is higher than the EUR one by a bit… -
@Hristijan-Petreski it’s not about using two sensors at the same time. @Likarnik explained it well with the example of cycling. If you use more than one accessory of a particular type in your training, e.g. HR chest belt and OHR armband every time you want to use a particular device you have to pair with the watch again - this is very annoying. I guess only suunto has this limitation.
-
That moment when you come home for the weekend… and there waiting for you is a small package in the shape of a cube

-
@taziden we have doom. Let me see if we can share.
-
@aroo7 you mean something like this…?

-
Pffff despite I placed my order on Suunto Website a 10:10 last tuesday, I guess I am part of the « simple mortals » who will have to wait for next tuesday’s expeditions….

I have a question for those using vertical already : I have read that music control widget can’t be unselected for now ? It is perhaps the only feature I don’t use at all and find totally not usefull…
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos can you link the watch to BT keyboard?

-
@Tieutieu music widget, that is media control, can be enabled and disabled like all other widgets.
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel with S+ app, I guess so
-
For the people receiving the watch, remember firmware is probably not final, not sure which version you’ll find installed.
