If there is no hot fix soon, I will open my SV and spray it with raid.

I’d say conditions are moderately challenging. Suburban environment without high rise buildings. My 9PP handles my walks much better atm.

Let’s see what the upcoming update’ll bring to the table.

You shouldn’t need to wait for an update to have better or at least similar results in such environnements with your Vertical, compare to S9pp (which delivers excellent results). My wife uses S9pp, my vertical has never delivered a worst gps track.

Here are samples from the same hike, under cover, in a mountain environment with cliffs, steep.
Both tracks are very good. I let you guess which track is from Vertical

Hi all. The crash issue has been identified (well some time ago) and we just need a few time for our fieltesters to validate the fix.

          Hold on please

The hotfix release will also include other fixes and small tweaky features such as show last location on map etc.

Thanks. I expect the delivery time to be max 12 days from now

Not sure if it is a bug but anyway. I have alarm set up for 5:40 in the morning, no sound only vibration. Today the alarm didn’t go off. I assume this hapenned because baterry level was at 9 %. Is that correct, at low level battery vibration does not work? Howerever, later at random time, 6:01, alarm went off, but no sound, no vibration just alarm message was displayed.

@renton82 That’s why we need an “official” list of reported bugs. 😁

I can’t disable PulseOx during sleep btw. It just keeps on tracking, no matter the setting.

Sometimes watch goes to sleep, but screen is still on. Basic weight training mode, watch on charger. It happened more than once yesterday.

@freeheeler activity with inactivity 😄 I’m not comfortable lifting weights or doing calisthenics with watch on. And this is perfect time for putting it on charger so I don’t have any gaps in HR measurement 😄

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Good news, thank you! Are you referring to crashes during workouts or in watch mode? Or do have the crashes in both situations the same reason?

@wmichi I am still curious why some of us have (a lot of) crashes and some of us none.

I would say that not everybody has the same definition of what a bug is.
For me, it’s something that avoid me to use the watch or a usefull function and can’t be solved by a simple soft reset or stop/start of the watch (for example on my S9b I can’t use Climb app, that’s a bug for me, not solved yet - I solved it buying the Vertical! 😂 ).

So, on my Vertical, no bug so far considering my definition of “bug”. And actually, except a soft reset just after few hours, and a stop/start watch to solve the “no map issue”, I have nothing to report.

Although I am not a user of the watch, I think that with the growing number of bugs (related to more features! Not criticizing) it would be nice to change the forum to have a system like we have for the features. Where number of likes/comments would demonstrate the number of people who has that bug. And when it is solved it would be marked solved. Garmin also has similar system in their beta forum.
I think it allows more capitalization .

@André-Faria True. I mean, the Garmin beta forum had major problems in the beginning, but it’s getting there.

I am not sure if it’s a bug or if it has been reported, but it happened a few times already.

When I scroll through the widgets (mostly when swiping left) the screen gets stuck on a pure black screen, something like in between widgets. Then I have to swipe again to get out of it. Not a big deal, just FYI.

@André-Faria no we won’t facilitate that. We have an extrernal group of fieltesters to manage that in an internal way.

@renton82 there was a new feature tested, somewhat requested in this forum, to have the last known position used to show the map even if you don’t have GPS. But it has been decided to remove this from the hotfix, and focus only on bug fixing.
