    Hello,
On my running activities, I always deactivate the cardio on the wrist and only leave the cardio on the belt.
Until now, the heart rate was only displayed when I was wearing my belt, which makes sense.
Since the last update of my watch, the heart rate is always displayed, with or without the belt… And the values without belts are random and inconsistent (remember that the wrist cardio is switched off).

If it’s possible to do something or to tell me if I’ve missed something.

    Thanks in advance

        Hello,
unfortunately, this has been known for some time and is really very annoying, as I don’t always want to have the hr function switched on.

Is there any confirmation from those responsible that the problem is being dealt with?

Otherwise, is it actually possible to somehow load an older software version onto the watch?

Many thanks in advance for any helpful information.

@9ppuser Until it’s fixed you can try this workaround: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/9751/unable-to-disable-wrist-hr-on-sport-mode?_=1703677843804

Sorry to ask this question again. Is it actually possible to downgrade to an older software version, for example 2.27.8, as long as the hr problem has not been fixed? If so, what is the procedure for iOS and the 9pp?

I’m reading your previous and this message and now I need to reply.
I know it is a bit disappointing that HR can’t be disabled with this firmware.
the issue is addressed but maybe not highest priority. most people use HR with their activities and the only downside is a slightly higher battery consumption when it is activated.
I don’t know the bugs and issues we’ve had with previous firmware versions out of the top of my head, but I personally would bite that small bullet for now.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, you’re right. Compared to the overall functionality of the watch, this is actually a minor problem. It’s the nerd in me 😉
