Software Update 2.30.32

@false What you are showing here isn’t a bug ! The new UI is vertically oriented, on the side you only have 1 extra screen, the rest is on the vertical axis from the main screen
Also, its End of the year festivities, give them a little break
-
@Elipsus of course it’s a bug. Training time shouldn’t be changing from 0:00 to 2:34 and back after clicking the button.
And it’s been more than a month so holidays are not an excuse especially when we talk about hundreds of euros worth product -
-
@false Hoooo, my bad I didn’t see the 2:34 bug thing
-
I still do see only one Strava segment in my guides, even more of them I have stared in my strava account. It is always the one I star as favorite as last in strava. What is the problem? I read 9PP should have more of them.
Thanks

@minimark069 So I have let some time pass to really have a good overview of these notifications, I can confirm:
- No weekly goal notifications since larger update and none after bug fix either
- No daily goal completion neither on steps nor on KCal*
- Also no stand-up notifications. I was in a 12-hour flight where I stayed seated many session over 2 hours. Never got an alert

@Zdeněk-Hruška YES! I did not encounter this issue before, but I was on a 2 weeks holiday and it happened to me one night. I had then to restart (soft reset) the watch for OHR to come back. then the following night… same issue! readings stopped in the middle of the night and OHR not working in the morning.
What I did find out though is this: my blood oxygen level is ON and on both nights the OHR stopped working I had no measurement for the blood oxygen. As it happened a second time I soft reset the watch again and started a manual blood oxygen measurement after restart. Since then the issue hasn’t popped-up again! It could be interesting to try it out, if it’s the case for others than it would mean that the start of Blood Oxygen sensor is messing up OHR (only a theory) -
@RaDeck Same for me about the weekly goal notifications
As for the stand up notification, i do get it, but it’s only when I’m playing computer games and I’m VERY focused, but if i just grab my water bottle a little bit too often, I wont get notifications.
So, its maybe a bit too sensitive ^^ -
@RaDeck do you get the daily goal completion notifications for steps and calories?
-
@minimark069 Good point! I forgot to mention it (I’ll edit my post). No daily goal completion either!

I wonder if Suunto is working on an update or not? We’ve reported so many bugs here, but nothing has been fixed yet
I would also like to mention not only the ‘training time’ bug but also the incorrect ramp rate. In the app, it is usually somewhere around 0. On the watch, after any training, it shows the same value as CTL, and the day after, it displays the correct data (the same as in the app)
UPD: on the 2nd day after training the watch shows ramp rate == CTL again. Idk what for is this metric for

with great joy I have just discovered that there is a watch face that reports the barometric trend
I think the management of the barometric trend needs to be investigated because I see that the pressure goes down or up during the day when the pressure is for all intents and purposes almost constant. if the rules are the same as I have on the Suunto Core I would say there is something wrong with the s9pp.

As I was about to start my weight training, I captured that the heart rate reading was in ‘measuring’ state. I waited 2-3 minutes to see if any change would happen: no. As I took of my watch, same happening: the OHR had stopped working. A restart fixed the issue.
It isn’t a deal-breaker atm as it hasn’t happened often, I was wondering though if others have experienced it as well (on a regular basis?).
Cheers -
@RaDeck It happened to me several times already. Usually during the sleep and once during the day. It’s not a deal breaker for me as for activities I am using external sensors. But it’s definitely something worth repairing. I haven’t had any issues with my watch other than this one.
-
The issue with stopped OHR sensor also happened to me today. It is already 2nd time from the update with new UI.

I don’t know the reason why this happened. However, I turned it on by deactivating 24/7 HR tracking and starting a aerobics training.
Before that HR sensor did work for 4 hours, despite 24/7 tracking was on:

With all of the (seemingly) bad comments since this upgrade, I’d like to add a positive. Sleep tracking is now pretty accurate for me, in terms of when (approximately) I fell asleep and when I woke up. Very nice indeed!
-
@wakarimasen I agree with you, I am positively surprised by this feature, it seems to be working very well for me, too
-
@wakarimasen point, yes! It was discussed as well a few posts higher. Sleep track is, indeed, much much better again!
-
@Александр-Даниленко Ok, good to know, thanks for sharing! I’ll try this next time it happens
-
I noticed my resources now never fall below 10%. Is that as it should work?
