Software Update 2.30.32
-
Today my watch for some reason started to measure blood oxygen often automatically. I don’t remember they ever did it automatically before (except sleep).
What might be the reason?
-
@Александр-Даниленко this happens to me, when I do it manually. But sometimes I do not see this chart even I measure during the day.
-
@thailon but the case is that I didn’t do it manually that day

Hey guys,
Small question, since this update my battery life is really bad (around 5 days max with VFC, Spo2, notifications, but no activities).
I never really paid attention to it as I was training a lot, but now that i’m injured (again ) It seems pretty low compared to “before the big update”.
I did try to soft reset, AND i also did a hard reset as well as the re calibration of the battery (letting it drain fully and charging it to 100%), but its still kinda bad.Is it normal for this update ? or should i RMA it ?
cheers !
-
@Elipsus my battery on s9pp is also bad after last update. Just normal watch, without hr or sleep tracking, around 10% per day
-
@Александр-Даниленко had another courious graph about o2 measurement…
-
@Elipsus do not hesitate to use the search. There are plenty of messages with complaints on battery life after this update. Personally, I wish I had read this huge thread first, before installing an update because I didn’t get anything useful for me except loads of bugs

Apart from the known harmless problems, I see nothing that prevents me from using the watch and enjoying it to the fullest. I am always weirded out by personal perceptions of things (maybe because my dear dad taught me to see the glass always full)
-
@krakra that’s odd indeed, same usage with a ~4% battery drop per day

That’s right - so many men, so many minds. My opinion is different and of course what is might be harmless for you is harmful for another one and it’s okay.
-
@Elipsus you should be on 2.30.38, not the firmware in this thread, probably not the right place to discuss this if you have 2.30.38
-
@Brad_Olwin this thread continues to be the pinned on top. Maybe some moderator should unpin this and pin the appropriate thread.
-
@Brad_Olwin Hey sorry, in fact I really though i deleted the message right after I posted it (and took the time to read right above it), I’m on the 38 version
Maybe the previous version threads should be locked ? -
@RaDeck its due to the watch face. I have just changed fron the new Race/Vertical face to one of he original 9 faces and now i am getting the notifications
-
@minimark069, I confirm! But I think that every watch has its own “bugging” watch face: in the past, I was using an old watch face that actually was causing problems with sleep tracking and HRV data, now that I have chose a new one, the problems seem solved.
-
@Matúš @RaDeck @minimark069 do you do use this one? II do and I’m still having sleep tracking issues
-
@thailon I was, I have changed to the Analogue style face and got both the goal Notifications.
-
-
@minimark069 great finding! I haven’t played around with switching parameters or watch faces as most functions work well so I want to keep it as is! I can make a tiny sacrifice on the daily notifications, ain’t that important to me as I track my progress anyways.
Thanks for sharing though! -
@thailon yes exactly! Sleep tracking has been fine with me as well as battery life since my hard reset. The rest HRV setting seems to play a role in the tracking perf, as well as tracking hours
