      Every one to two weeks, when starting an activity that requires OHR like Yoga or swimming or walking, I notice that the watch does not give me any heart rate…
      (For running and biking I always use a heart rate belt, so I would not notice the absence of the OHR…)

      When in that situation and stopping the pre-start, the OHR is also failing to be on for permanent heart rate tracking - I just didn’t notice before.

      The only way I found to reactivate the OHR is a restart of my Race. This is extremely annoying as it always happens when I do NOT have the time for these games - Yoga class is starting right now, etc. I hate it.

      So, I assume this is a bug of the current firmware. Hopefully known to Suunto. If not, please investigate and fix it.

      Thanks.

        @Olaf-Gottschalk Yes, I’ve had that with both the Vertical and now with my Ocean. Is rare But definitely happened… I always noticed that by chance because I usually wear a belt

            @Olaf-Gottschalk
            My main activity is biking (trail / enduro) and I use OHR.
            It stops receiving HR literally every single ride. I’ve noticed that it stops when I make a short pause during a ride. It may be a traffic light or sip of water. Then OHR shows impossible low level for HR instead of real one.
            My solution is to remove watch from my wrist, clean the sensor and put it back on. It works for me (mostly). It takes some time - so maybe this is also a factor.
            But it is very annoying to have that kind of problem. I am forced to observe the watch to catch the moment when problem occurs.
            SUUNTO - please verify this case.
            And fix it please.
