Suunto Run + New Strap
-
Didn’t found it anywhere but, if this watch with the new OS does not support SUUNTO+ apps, how will be ZoneSense implemented? Or this will be discontinued in the future because minority of users are able to use it with some constancy? For me it works better than in the past but I still have a lot of doubts. What you think?
-
@AntoniusGaius ZoneSense is computed in the app after the workout, so it still works, for real-time it’ll probably come to Run at some point, and I think also for older watches it’ll be possible to have it natively without the S+ app
-
@Tami999 I will go for the coral and the black one. I have read in one review that the straps will cost 29€ each.
-
@isazi Good News
Maybe SUUNTO will implement the most used S+ apps as native features in the watch. Which will be great. We will see.
Calculation after workout in the app does not have any sense, as it is real time effort measurement and you need it in real time. My opinion. And it differs between watch and the app. In the app it is presented very aggressively. In every graph it is on the first place no matter what you had as the last one. I use it on the watch in real time, and post workout I look only on HR zones. -

Good to know. With that price I’ll consider to get more than one
-
@cosme.costa I may get the coral too when available, let’s see. Damn I have too many straps
-
@isazi Me too
I will get two, my son has a S5Peak that is also compatible with the 22 mm straps and we will share them.
-
@cosme.costa
Except in Finland it’s probably 49€ -
@JANTIKAINEN yeah straps are also expensive here in Poland too
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel @JANTIKAINEN how can you tell something about the prizes? I can’t find the new strap on the German website
-
@JANTIKAINEN The silicone ones are also expensive in Spain (49€) but this ones seems that are going to be cheaper as per the review that I’ve read (in Spanish). I expect them also to be cheaper taking into account that nylon straps are quite cheap in Coros and around leaked price in Garmin.
-
@SuperFlo75 I mean Suunto straps in general, not the new ones in particular.
-
@isazi I guess you have seen ZS being available in SA for activities recorded with Run? read in the spanish telegram group that this is not the case because Run doesn’t write R-R data, I’m confused
now

for activities recorded with SR
SR has already been used for the Race, maybe better SRU or RU to avoid confusion

Why not just Run or RUN?

@enriqueescoms Climb guidance no but you get a nice elevation profile of the entire route when you have a route loaded.
-
@herlas I’ll test it later today
