=> just checked : indeed it works ! If you set the date for your structured workout (and if it’s the day), you can use you structured workout session in any sport mode even if it doesn’t has an interval screen set.

Yes, this is true and known. And once you decline the answer if you want to use it, you still cannot enable the guide later…

Well I guess I missed something.
But just checked again : I started an exercice after refusing to use my training session. Then started another exercice : the session is still proposed.

Correct. I mean, If you decline the guide and then try to add it in the options of that same activity without starting a new one -> not possible.

@Egika ok got it. But as I see it usefull to use on exercices where I don’t have interval screen set, I could not select it anyway in options for now.

I haven’t had much time for proper testing so sorry for information which aren’t so detailed.

1/ I re-paired the pod and tested exactly the setup you suggested — and in this case, it did work as expected.
It’s very possible that some of my previous tests were flawed, so I want to apologize for any misinformation and thank you for your patience and help. That part is on me.

2/ That said, there is still a real issue I can consistently observe.
Please have a look at this activity from yesterday: I had Stryd connected, everything set up correctly, yet power was clearly not taken from the pod.

          https://quantified-self.io/user/EqrKRGu7FvcCJIvp9DW3lDyVB3Y2/event/rYCU1nlJSo26nPXBJjoC

This seems to match what I occasionally experience in practice:
          • Stryd appears connected and active
          • But during the activity, power (and sometimes other data) is not sourced from the pod
          • Re-pairing before the run often fixes it, which suggests a connection or data-source fallback issue

So while the intended behavior works in some cases, there still seems to be an intermittent reliability problem, especially across sessions.

Happy to help with further testing or provide additional examples if needed.
Thanks again for looking into this — much appreciated.

Hmm. Here’s the 5k race that alerted me to this issue. Interesting Suunto had a significantly higher elevation estimation than Stryd.

Since the update I am not receiving the morning report every morning, one day there is one, the next there’s none.

@OutdoorMan There is a bug with the iOS app that sets time in bed to 00:00 to 00:00 (or 12:00AM to 12:00AM) so the sleep tracking and morning report were messed for me too on the Race 2.
See here how to address: https://forum.suunto.com/post/182922

@EzioAuditore I thought this fix is for the app not displaying sleep at all. Will have a look, thanks.

@OutdoorMan No. My watch was acting all weird. And I confirmed it with the Ocean that I have paired to Android. Once paired to the iPhone it messed the sleeping. Not giving me any morning report. Missing days of sleep 🙂

@EzioAuditore Interesting 🙂 I just did that and my schedule already was set to 22:00 - 8:00, but let’s see what happens 🙂

@OutdoorMan I always get mine after I’ve turned off my alarm and gone to the bathroom. I usually get up at 4:45, even though the clock is also set to sleep mode from 10 PM to 8 AM. I only have that enabled so the display doesn’t keep turning on at night.

Hello. Is anyone else having trouble with their Vertical 2 and the advanced heart rate zones for different sports? When I adjust the maximum heart rate for cycling (since it’s lower for that sport), it affects the maximum heart rate for other sports (default, running, etc.), even without selecting the option to update the maximum heart rate after the suggestion message appears.
I’ve consulted the manual, and while it explains the function, it doesn’t seem to work. I don’t know if anyone else has reported this issue… I’m using SFTW version 2.50.26; I didn’t notice this problem in any previous version after adjusting the thresholds.
Also published in Vertical 2 general discussion…
EDIT: For now… I’m not modifying the maximum heart rate while cycling, so it doesn’t alter the other zone programs.

It is not lower for any sport. There is only one maximum HR.
