Race 3S & Race 3 rumours

New sensor. I heard rumors that Race 3 will have new one. Maybe this one?

-
Does it say what size the screen is and does it have maps?

A minute walk on suunto’s reddit section will give you most details.

@André-Faria I can’t access Reddit from work! I’ll look now (I was being impatient!)
-
@elbee haha, recognizable dynamics. My girlfriend might notice the same when I switch

@Wilson75 I still do not get it where the 4GB vs 64GB difference is kicking in and on which version (online there is a “normal” and a 4GB version promoted…
-
@johann.fuehrer
4gb is enough for map storage?
there is maybe a version without map. 4gb is quite enough for music storage.and 64gb with map storage.

So there is a confirmed price increase of €50 over the Run 1 for the supposed base model it seems.

Every time when I see new Suunto watch I always thinking , Jezzz… they nailed this look!" and than new watch comes…

-
@Tami999 my fav would be the V2, if only they could stop with such dark metal hues and lean more into like SS with a lighter grey for the plastic parts of it. I would love that! Seems like they’re going gold hue on their silver look for the Run 2 which I’m not a fan of at all unfortunately.

@johann.fuehrer doesn’t work anymore

-
@Wilson75 So is this the Suunto version of Garmin’s Stamina?

-
@martintrail sure seems like it!
-
@GratefulDeadpan Hmm, nothing for me… but I guess that’s what people want. I’ve never understood how it’s supposed to work or how to really use it.
-
@martintrail I’m intrigued for sure. I would guess that it looks at your sustained effort, heart rate, power, recovery and your previous workouts to establish some kind of baseline but I really know to little here. All I know is that people aren’t that impressed by Garmin’s offering here and I doubt Suunto’s will be much better. But I’d be happy to be proven wrong here because I’d really like for this feature to work.
