Suunto Vertical 2 General Discussion
-
My Vertical 2 crashes only during activities (2 or 3 times a week), which is quite annoying. I thought the last update would fix the issue, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, have you found a workaround?I tried to send the logs to suunto without succes.
-
@Colomers During the last 14 days, my watch has been restarting many times, both during active tracking and in normal daily use. I have already sent logs 3 times, but I have not received a meaningful response from Suunto yet. This is very frustrating.

I’ve had my V2 since mid October and so far not a single crash. I always run 3 S+ non-third party apps. No other issues either.

Today’s 15 minutes commute to work. Anaerobic threshold lower than aerobic

@HonzaS Yes, lately I’ve also been getting some strange data from ZS…
-
@martintrail Short time IMHO for analyze.
-
@HonzaS yes, but that doesn’t excuse providing garbage data, if ZoneSense calculate this, then it shouldn’t display it…its the most basic data validation you can do !
-
@martintrail no, it never left beta status. In my case!

Last months I got very slow charging on my V2. Today I started charging at 26% and now after almost 3 hours I got 95%. I tried three types of chargers but it’s the same. Does anybody has same problem?
-
@HonzaS Try a soft reset after you fully charged it. In my case the display changed to 100%. There are always problems with the battery calibration, especially after updates
-
@VoiGAS I tried that few times while charging. The percentage doesn´t change but the charging was maybe speeded up. It´s not the problem of stuck at the value before full charge. On next charging, I´ll try to reboot before charging if it helps.
-
@HonzaS Hello, you need to soft-reset AFTER the charging. This fixed it for me. But actually - since the latest firmware the issue has vanished on my V2.
-
@johann.fuehrer I also did that. But how could reboot performed AFTER charging solve slow charging speed BEFORE this reboot?

Also next charging was the same, that’s why I wrote that I’ll try to reboot BEFORE charging…
