      Both the watch and phone are updated with the latest software and apps available.
      Oneplus is about to roll out Android 11 for oneplus 7-series, it was said it would be december but it’s looking like it will be 2021.
      I’ve read rumors that the developers have ran into problems with the 7-series.
      I’m hoping this update would fix this issue.

      Android version on phone:
      10.0.10GM21BA

      Wear OS version on the phone is: 2.43.0.345411009.gms

      Google play version on the phone:
      23.1.30-21 [0] [PR] 346929339

      Wear OS version on watch is:
      2.43.0.344410213

      The watch doesn’t vibrate or wake up at all. The notification dot is there but that’s it.
      Sounds and all on the phone when I getting notifications.
      Read i another thread that Wear OS shuts down in the background and the watch looses bluetooth connection so I tried to locking Wear OS to stop it from disconnecting. No difference in results.
      I’ve turned on the setting on watch so that it vibrates when connection is changed and sometimes it vibrates like something has changed but almost instantly it vibrates again so I can’t see if it looses bluetooth connection.

      The problem is so annoying that I’m thinking of buying another watch, don’t know which one yet though. Oneplus is, according to latest rumors, set to present a smartwatch early 2021. That’s really interesting!

      Anyone have any idea what causes the problem and/or have any solution?

        Do vibrations work in general ? I first time hear of this issue.

          Yes the vibrations work, it vibrates when I choose the pattern of the vibrations and when I reboot the watch.

            The notifications do work as I wish but it’s not often.
            Phonecalls and text message via Messenger never works like I want.
            I just want the watch to vibrate on notifications and calls when I’m wearing it and it’s turned on and for the phone to be silenced.
            It worked flawlessly on my former watch, it was a Huawei smartwatch gen 1, I’ve sold it so I can’t test if the notifications work on another watch.
            One of my colleagues have a Suunto 7 and notifications work for him. He has a Samsung Galaxy s20+.

                Are you on android 11 beta then or still on 10?
                Been in contact with suunto support today and they will look into it and get back to me.
                Really strange this one.

                    @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I haven’t received any update to Android 11 yet. I’ve read it’s been delayed. But when it finally arrives I’m hoping it will fit this problem. It was due in december according to oneplus. Not many days left in december so looks like January.

                          I’m getting notifications for all my apps on my phone.
                          I’m getting notifications on my Suunto 7 as well.
                          The problem is that the watch doesn’t always vibrate
                          or even wake up when there is a notification and the phone is not silenced as it should be with these settings enabled in Wear OS. Screenshot_20201228-192804.jpg

                              My S7 works perfect, even the vibration for the notifications. But I still on Android 10 (SMG S10).

                                          Anyone who’s using the suunto 7 with a oneplus 7 pro or any other oneplus 7 series device?
                                          Or any oneplus device at all, getting desperate here.
                                          I wish I had another suunto 7 to pair with my phone, maybe that could give me a hint on what’s causing the problem.
                                          Maybe it doesn’t have to do with the devices at all and I just have to wait for the android 11 update.
                                          But this is irritating me, I’ve paid a significant amount of money for this watch and it’s not functioning properly. And the support on Suunto is not easy to get ahold of. Tried contacting them on all social media to get some kind of answer.
                                          The help I’m getting here is the most response I’ve gotten in this matter.😘

                                            @Lars-Bengtsson S7 with OnePlus 7pro. Don’t use phone silence settings as they can cause tracking issue. May be causing your other issues too, as have no problems at all with vibration due to notifications on watch. I think this is further reinforced by the fact you get notifications on watch?, And you vibration dues work for other stuff? Could try rebooting watch and phone (quite often connection issues are phone not watch).
