          @isazi Ok, thanks!

So from what I saw on images it will have : fast charging, new HR monitor with SpO2 (Google translated it as photoelectric and watch has two metal contacts near HR monitor - maybe some kind of wrist ECG? or just battery charger contacts), over the air updates - no more cable for FW updates, adaptive brightness, BT 5.0.

Design looks great in my opinion, more modern and sleek

@dušan-ković I remember jawbone fitness tracker (remember those?) had an HR sensor similar to those of HR straps. Maybe this will be in the s9peak? Not as a primary sensor, but as a secondary one to provide more accurate reading by combining both data streams.

@dušan-ković According to this article there are more watches with ECG build-in
              https://www.wareable.com/health-and-wellbeing/ecg-heart-rate-monitor-watch-guide-6508

Wouldn’t that make OHR obsolete? That would be great news!

@дима-мельниченко Those bracelet looking trackers? I just saw them, but never explored more.

@surfboomerang Maybe ECG for HR tracking and optical for SpO2? Not sure if you can track SpO2 with ECG.

@surfboomerang remember that EGC needs both hands on the watch. Its for a single / focused reading. Like Spo2 works in many. (You have to stand still etc)

I had a Jawbone UP3. One of the best sleep tracking devices ever. And the app was the best of them all, pity it bankrupted. The limitation to the HR with the Jawbone was that it was measured only while sleep or rest. It couldn’t measure while running you need optics to do that I guess.
The metallic things on the s9 peak IMO are more like the polar’s one. To charge and to better detect when off wrist?!

“remembering” the images from the Chinese site that leaked everything, it seems that there are no contact points for charging on the back of the device. Will this then be suitable for wireless charging only? That would be quite unique for sports watches, wouldn’t it?

Just wondering if the watch body will be 43mm did the screen stayed the same size as on S9B and they just made bezels thinner or the screen is also smaller?

I for one would love a smaller watch. The S9 baro is awesome, but I have small wrists so it definitely looks huge.

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I hope one day suunto will have almost bezeless screen. But let’s hope new screen has more contrast and better visibility. I also don’t mind smaller watch. I got used to S9Bs size, but it is a big watch

Just stalked LIFEQ a bit, because of the new HR sensor. Is it the same one like in S7? I saw S7 picture on their webpage

@isazi I love bulky watches but not heavy. The new line of Titanium is pretty good on that.

I remember reading @Brad_Olwin how in ultras a heavy watch can be uncomfortable.

Size also means weight, weight means less accuracy than the WHR.

Therefore a smaller watch with those characteristics is welcome

@dušan-ković I think the size difference of the screen is not so big.
The titanium/stainless steel bezel of the current S9 is relatively big. If I measure my screen (incl the black bezel part, but without the stainless steel bezel) it is 43mm.
If I see the stainless steel bezel of the new S9, it looks much smaller so probably the screen size is almost identical to the current one.

The watch itself however will look smaller on the wrist.

I see the screen is 1.2p compared to S9b is 1.4p.
But apparently it has a better contrast.
