Hi all, not sure why but since my update some weeks ago to v2.18.18, I’m experiencing a very agressive battery drain on my S9P. I already disabled media, and tried to empty/recharge the battery completely, set GPS to BEIDOU… but all without success.

Currently, I’m not training a lot so it is not that I’m using the watch very intensively. The only difference is the update to v2.18.18.

Anyone else experiencing this problem and anyone has an idea how when the next update is scheduled for the S9P?

      thanks

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos almost from fully charged to end at the day at 30%. I will start recording some numbers to get an overview

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I uploaded the logs to Suunto just now and I will PM you my email. at this stage, there is no immediate need to downgrade. I would prefer to find the solution so if suunto eng. needs me to test something, feel free to let me know.

Will a factory reset also solve my issue? I don’t have that much battery drain, but I’m getting a lot of battery drain after upgrading to 2.18.18 in my S9P.
                        As I commented in:

i do seem to get some weird battery drain as well. Overnight (5 hours 19 minutes) it lost 8% while being in “Do not disturb” mode but sleep monitoring was enabled. still i consider it to be quite high

I have had some weird battery drain as well since the last update, on a Suunto 5. Will there be a fix for this as well? @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos

Just wanna give a big thumbs up for Suunto. 👍

The latest firmware fixed the battery drain very good! Depleted the watch completely after the 2.19.42 firmware update and charged it to 100%

After 48 hrs the watch is still at 92% (no exercise)
