Suunto 9 peak, battery drain - v.2.18.18
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos yes i did
-
@pascal-tempels if that is the case I can help you revert to prev fw if needed.
Also logs via the Suunto app + PM your email so I can get those can help
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I uploaded the logs to Suunto just now and I will PM you my email. at this stage, there is no immediate need to downgrade. I would prefer to find the solution so if suunto eng. needs me to test something, feel free to let me know.
-
@pascal-tempels I can see the issue
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos after the factory reset, power consumption is back to normal. thx for the help

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos
Will a factory reset also solve my issue? I don’t have that much battery drain, but I’m getting a lot of battery drain after upgrading to 2.18.18 in my S9P.
As I commented in:
(https://forum.suunto.com/topic/7061/software-update-2-18-18-sept-28-2021/286 )Thanks

@pedromslopess I don’t know
-
i do seem to get some weird battery drain as well. Overnight (5 hours 19 minutes) it lost 8% while being in “Do not disturb” mode but sleep monitoring was enabled. still i consider it to be quite high
-
@thanasis will be fixed with next update.
-
@isazi i have the same problem, battery drain after the firmware upgrade.
-
I have had some weird battery drain as well since the last update, on a Suunto 5. Will there be a fix for this as well? @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
-
Just wanna give a big thumbs up for Suunto.
The latest firmware fixed the battery drain very good! Depleted the watch completely after the 2.19.42 firmware update and charged it to 100%
After 48 hrs the watch is still at 92% (no exercise)
