@Martin-Gaal S9B is not receiving any new updates, so nothing will change for you. Maybe compatibility of older watches with this S+ app will be removed if an updated Bluetooth driver is needed.

@Raimo-Järvi I have just installed lates update for Sunnto Race S 2.37.34 and it seems to fixed the problem with connection to bike when checking in garage, I will need to take a bike for a ride to confirm that it is not dropping conenction then

@Rafał-Bełzowski 2.37.34 should include fix for the connection issue, but I don’t work for Suunto anymore, so I don’t have any inside information. If it works in garage, then the issue has probably been fixed.
As @isazi said, S9B is not getting any updates, and the only chance of fixing the connection issue for S9B is that it gets fixed in Shimano side. Also note that connection works for some Shimano devices even without the fix (don’t ask which ones).

Hi,
I just wanted to report that I’m pleasantly surprised how well the App is working. I’ve been using Shimano app with my Vertical for a month now, no issues whatsoever.
Even yesterday, when I has a bit of a trouble with my bike, and I had to reboot the system two times during the ride to get the assistance back, I still didn’t miss any data. I was expecting a loss of connnection when rebooting during the excersise, but no, everything just worked smoothly.
Obviously I was late to the game, but it seems I missedn the connection problems altogether.

@Raimo-Järvi I know you said you don’t work for Suunto anymore, but I guess you could still know the answer to tihs:
As the “Shimano E-bike systems” doesn’t seem to be available for the new E-biking sports modes, is it because the “Shimano E-bike systems” app would neet to be updated, or configure differently?
Or is there something wrong with the newq sports modes?

@Teemu-Hänninen I think Suunto needs to add E-biking sport modes (or activity types) to the Shimano SuuntoPlus apps. SuuntoPlus apps are either available in all activities, or have a list of activities where they can be activated (running, cycling etc.). E-biking activities need to be added to that list for the Shimano apps, and the SuuntoPlus apps need to be updated.
