Just piling on that the HRM is no longer working on my 9PP. Have to restart every couple hours, works for a bit, then nothing. Hopefully the fix is pushed very soon. Kind of defeats the purpose of the watch.

        Hello, hi and bye bye.

After this update 9 peak pro isnt working as it shoud be!

After few hours heart rate isnt working also sleep measure isnt working. Then soft reset and this works few hours and then not…

        This is really annoying!!!

Hard reset and soft --> nothing

And I cant connect win 11 and this 9 peak pro, why not?

Can I downgrade or what should I do.

Or do you wanna buy this watch

@pavel-samokha since the update Heart rate monitor, sleep track and co2 level stopped working on 9peak pro completely!

Where and how to downgrade the firmware back to the one of Oct. 2024. Because with that one, all worked fine.

Anyone information about how to downgrade a firmware? Using android app.

And yet it’s one of the core features of the sports watch. It’s not a minor inconvenience, some regression. It’s a feature that’s in the watch since the beginning and it’s not working as intended.

It’s not the case of some new feature that has been added for free.

It shouldn’t have happened and it’s a sign that the software hasn’t been tested enough prior to the release.

@Łukasz-Szmigiel Testing is always a balance. You could test for months and still not encounter a specific situation that triggers a bug or unforeseen behaviour.

Please note that it’s less than a week since the firmware release and the community beta testers have already hinted a fix is imminent.

There has also been zero suggestion the bug won’t be fixed as soon as possible so I see no reason to rattle sabres about missing core features.

Of course, because the fix needs to be thoroughly tested prior to release you will just need to be patient.

@far-blue I won’t cry because of the missing feature, I’m just baffled that there’s no official statement from Suunto: There’s a bug, we’re aware about it and we’re working on a fix. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

We’re just a tiny group here, with few testers and even less Suunto employees. There are far more people around the world, using S9PP, who’s watch is affected by the bug.

Communication is key. People do understand if you tell them the truth and apologise.

@sebchastang In the Vertical, I encountered the Control Panel issue for the 3rd time. It seems like it has something to do with the Notifications. When I went to the proper Notifications widget (there were 0 messages anyway) and then tried to launch Control Panel - it started to work properly again. Maybe it’s a coincidence or maybe a pattern. For those with this issue - can you check this method?

Nothing has changed in my watch, race ti, in terms of consumption. Now I can’t exceed 6 days of use if I train and no more than 8 days without training, among other things with or without AOD nothing changes. Months ago I sent the watch to support, as per their request, and I was told that there are no hardware problems.

The hr tracking, sleep tracking etc are working fine on my S9PP after the update.
But after yesterday’s 8hr run using 51% of the battery, a 3hr45min run today used 26%. Both indicate a 15hr max battery runtime. Battery drain outside of activity is normal.
It sounds like this is specific to my watch but it seems unlikely that the battery health would deteriorate to such an extent overnight, at the same time the firmware was updated. If it had, I’d expect to see high drain outside of activity as well.
Does anyone have any suggestions about the cause and what I can do? I need the watch for a 30-35hr race in 3 weeks, which is a problem if it goes flat in 15hrs.

So my S9PP lasts now about 6 days without any gps activities, as we are all sick at home. The funny thing was that it showed 1% battery left for almost 14 hours. I hope that now it got discharged, the battery management recalibrates itself somehow. Lets see. The OHR bug is there as well.
