Suunto app 3.14.2 no longer runs on MacOS?

Dear community,
since the latest update to the Suunto app (version 3.14.2), it no longer works on my macOS (both my MacBook and iMac running Sonoma on Apple Silicon (M Series)). I also tried a clean install after completely deleting all data, but no. The previous versions up to 3.14.1 ran smoothly.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue, or has there been a change since the last update? Version 3.14.1 still worked without any problems. I use the app frequently for route planning—it’s so much better on a big screen.

@9ppuser I just checked : both are running 3.14.2 suunto app that was released few days ago, but they are under Tahoe.

@Tieutieu Thank you!, and that’s interesting. As I said, version 3.14.1 was still working fine, but after the update, the app no longer launches—on either system.

Subject: Suunto App 3.14.2 crashes instantly on macOS Sonoma (14.8.9) due to missing SF Symbol / UI Asset
Root Cause Analysis from Crash Log:
The crash is triggered by Thread 0 with an EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) exception. The stack trace shows that UIKitCore attempts to load a system image asset (+[UIImage_systemImageNamed:withConfiguration:allowPrivate:]), which then fails inside Apple’s CoreUI framework (-[CUICatalog namedVectorGlyphWithName:…]).It appears that version 3.14.2 references an iOS 18 / macOS Sequoia specific UI asset or SF Symbol that is not present or named differently in macOS Sonoma, causing a null pointer crash.
Please provide a hotfix that gracefully handles or removes the incompatible UI asset for macOS Sonoma users.
