    @silentvoyager I see the issue. Please if you have a different system font for you system (eg enlarged) switch it back to to normal for the app not to crash

      Sooooo, more people experiencing problems with updating the AGPS.
      MC, cable and SA users, it seems…
      What to do now? does Suunto know, if not, how?

            The font doesn’t seem to be an issue. I’ve reverted back to default font, installed the app again (version 4.6.0 from June 26). It was behaving OK, albeit a bit slow, initially. Then, once I synced it with the watch, it became extremely laggy again, and after a while it crashed with “not responding” message. And I still couldn’t see the long trail activity from the last weekend in the log.

              @silentvoyager Got it . I think I know the issue , I have escaleted that to n1 prio. Hold on.

                    my suunto 9 has many troubles after I updated to v2.8.24.
                    the top tow are -

                    1. the heart rate strap doesn’t work at any kind of sport
                    2. the GPS isn’t syncing
                      what is the root of the problem?
                      shell I reset the firmware to have the old settings?

                      What do you mean GPS is not syncing and via what app ?

                              Hi,

                              I have problems with my Suunto 9 Baro. I use Suuntolink to synchronize settings and AGPS data. Unfortunately AGPS data are not updated. AGPS file is 3 weeks old so it takes a long time to find GPS signal. The only solution is to reset my watch and sync again but it shouldn’t work like this. In my opinion this file should be updated every time the new one exists.
                              Suuntolink app version: 2.28.1
                              Suunto 9 soft version: 2.11.38

                                  Recently, I have experienced this problem too with S9B.
                                  Last 2 weeks it takes about 5-7 minutes to find a GPS fix.
                                  I checked the AGPS on my watch, it is up to date, I always synchronize with the SA before leaving the house and the date is current day.
                                  I did a soft reset, it didn’t help. I used GPS + Beidou, changed to GPS only, also no improvement.
                                  I don’t think I did anything right before the problem happened (FW update or anything like that)
                                  Is there anything else I can do?

                                    @kabzior This is not normal. I have never had this problem. Make sure that the AGPS is there, sometimes mine does not sync properly. The only time I have had this issue is when the AGPS file is missing. Are you using the cable and the newer Suuntolink, charging via connection to the computer?

                                        I think your problem is that you sync before the activity. The AGPS file needs some minutes to deploy, if you sync just before the activity, when you try to get the GPS lock it is deploying so it is like it is missing but later when you check it, it is up to date, these are my findings and my own experience.

                                        In my opinion with an AGPS up to 3/4 days old you should not have issues getting a GPS lock in less than a minute and if you sync before the activity do it at least 30 minutes before it.
