      @łukasz-szmigiel So if you engage SuuntoPlus Weather and have a route loaded, an ETE/ETA field and Sunset is already there. Why I try to keep the data in the watch simple.

        @brad_olwin valid point. But it’s unavailable in S5 and besides - one might want to limit screen switching and S+ requires to shuffle the screens.

        Btw. is it possible to switch screens to the left in S9 series as there’s no dedicated back button?

            @dmytro well, I would have to change my habits and redesign the screens if I had S9 then. I often jump between navigation and the screen before it. I’d have to cycle all the way forward if on 9?

              @łukasz-szmigiel sadly so. It’s fine with me as I rarely look at the data other than hr and duration, map - so only two screens basically.

                @łukasz-szmigiel No, it is easy to customize a battery mode with touch so you can scroll back and forth on screens.

                  @brad_olwin but you have to enable the touch in custom battery mode, right?

                    @brad_olwin Usually I have:

                    1. ascent
                    2. altitude
                    3. distance
                    4. pace
                    5. heartrate
                    6. vertical speed, barometer, ETA, sunrise or sunset.
                    7. duration

                    Field No 6 is more or less just to fill the field. But sometimes sunrise and sunset for multi day tours

                    But playing around with the peak might get me switching to 2 displays with 5 fields. 😁 this watch is so light and small, it is amazing

                      @łukasz-szmigiel Correct.
                      I use it for a couple of sport modes, but I would rather see that Suunto implement this for buttons too.
                      The big problem is probably the number of buttons available 😄 All the buttons already have dual actions assigned to them for press and press-and-hold.

                        I have for races
                        Screen 1

                        1. Lap Ascent
                        2. Lap Pace
                        3. Vertical Speed
                          Screen 2
                        4. Ascent
                        5. Vertical Speed
                        6. Pace
                        7. Distance

                        The altitude profile will show altitude and HR is in the zone ring, I don’t need exact HR, just zones. The second screen will show duration at the top. I have alarms set for Sunrise/sunset. If needed I run SuuntoPlus Weather, which has sunset time and ETE/ETA.

                          This actually is a completely different but nice approach!

                          I have to test it. 👍

                          thanks

                            I use the lap intervals for aid stations so I know whether my timing is ok and when the cutoffs are. I make a jpeg/png of a spreadsheet for aid stations/timing and use that as the Lock Screen image on my iPhone. That way, I do not have to open my phone but just turn on/pull out of my vest and I can check times against the watch.

                              @theguyfromthesummit Well for me it’s just too much info all on one screen. When I’m running long distances or an ultra and my brain is not as sharp as usual I don’t want to be looking at a 7 field screen and have to work out what is what

                              My main screen for hills/ultra races has ascent, distance & duration (in that order from top to bottom). For flast or faster training/racing I have average pace, current pace, distance & duration. Those are all the metrics I need - I do have another couple of screens loaded but I rarely scroll through to them
