I know we are all excited with the prospect of Suunto and the future products from a company we love but I do not think it’s fair to ask the guys affiliated with Suunto about future plans. I am sure they are ‘dying’ to tell people about everything but that will not bring any good right? Imagine they said yes there is amoled vertical coming in near future… this is example of shooting yourself in the leg. The sales would sink, everybody would postpone buying (well maybe not everyone since I don’t like oled at all! Shining everywhere you go especially in darker environments, eating battery much faster in the sun than mips… but again that may just be me).
totally agree

@Mff73 yes you can correct. We update often. When watch is charging. Not thought till the second update of the watch (real update not some hot fix that might come out ).

When can we expect titanium watches on Suunto store again?

Impatient to get the new watch 🤩
That’s what I am impatiently waiting for too! Glad I ordered mine when I did
-
@MiniForklift We like green… and we both ordered the forest one… 🤩

Hey guys so when we are doing an overnight hike on Garmin they have the pause and resume after thing to keep it all one track which is great. So with the vertical I understand it doesn’t have this, so if we just press pause on the activity and leave it overnight does that mean the gps is still running all night draining the battery? In the morning we then just click continue activity to keep it one move ?
-
@gone-troppo I haven’t received my Vertical yet but assuming its the same as before there is one advantage to stopping the exercise and its that it allows the watch to track resting heart, body resources and sleep. I always find that interesting especially if there is significant elevation gain.
If I’m not mistaken on Garmin the pause and resume function allows sleep and other daily tracking to continue. Then once resumed its treated one long exercise.

Does the Vertical ship Tuesday Helsinki time, or if I’m from western Canada is it Tuesday local time there.
-
@mikekoski490 Actually it seems, that if you ordered from Suunto it will take longer, than from Amazon (at least here in Germany, where I could get it on Wednesday from Amazon). I would have thought, that Suunto ships the preordered one a bit earlier (like on Friday or Saturday or so), so that they arrive around Tuesday/Wednesday . But not really a problem, waiting a few days
-
@ChrisA I‘m also from Germany, is that really so? If true, bad marketing. They should have looked, for example, to Apple, which products either come on time or a bit earlier

Question for Suunto Pro Club members who have ordered a Vertical.
Do you find your order in your VIP account ?I don’t see mine…(ordered Tuesday at 10:05am).
-
@v-sacre check emails. I think it will be added to your account when shipped. Not sure.

I have this same question with him. May i know, how long i can pause it before it turn to save/end my activity?
Few weeks ago I had 2 days hike. I pause my S9P when i sleeping. After i woke up i saw my watch is saving my activity. I have to start the fresh activity for my second day hike.
-
@babychai are you sure you did not press the end button while sleeping?
-
@isazi
i’m not really sure because i press button in the dark environment. could be accidentally press the saving button.actually i’m not complaining. i just want to know is there any time limit i can pause it? or i can pause it as long as i can then will become single track when i manually press resume button?
-
@babychai I am not aware of any time limit, and on the S9P you can lock the screen during pause to avoid pressing a button and save the activity accidentally.
-
Ahh… great idea. Thanks for your suggestion. Maybe i try again for my next multi days hike.

@isazi HR as well?
