I used guide + app yesterday without issues

On production firmware? Because as of now, the docs say you can have multiple apps, but not an app + guide, even on Vertical. And I’d really prefer two apps (one ActiveLook glasses and the other whatever, say, Loop) and a guide…

@NickK yes, it works, but only with guides planned with TP or other third parties for now I believe. At the beginning of the activity the watch will tell you “you have this planned today etc.”, say yes, then scroll down and add an app.

@isazi What about structured workouts that are scheduled to a specific day? Wouldn’t that work similar to third party guides?

@NickK I haven’t tried, it may. I believe that the update in few weeks will make the guide+app combo work for any guide.

I just checked this and you will be able to run a Structured Workout and a S+App at the same time.

Just received my vertical today. First Suunto watch. When using the touchscreen I have to press the middle button first or it doesn’t work. Is this normal? Also, the weather widget says I have to sync the watch with the app first but when I try to do that it gets stuck on optimising GPS. How do I fix this?

Yes, the screen will lock without activity, a button press will allow touch to be active.
The app may take some time to transfer AGPS file, are you on Android or iOS, store version or beta?

Is it by design that the SV doesn’t show what battery profile is chosen by color code before the start of an activity? This was the case in the S9 series. Green for performace, blue for custom etc…

Hello, friends. Loving the pics you’ve posted of your new watches and straps.
I’d like to ask Suunto to make their own straps (not third party) with the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

I am new here that’s why I am asking about the connectivity to an iPhone. Is the bluetooth good enough to good through a flat that the connection is not interrupted? Is it a permanent connection? No issues with reconnection to the phone?

Any known issues there?

@Brad_Olwin it is, but just in case, you have a scheduled structured workout for the day what you select at the begining. After it, you can add a S+ app as well.
If you want to select guide and S+ app from the list, that won’t work.
