Normally it gets deactivated when you don’t use the watch und you have to press a button to wake it up. Mine keeps responding, even though backlight turns correctly off.

I do not have a SV but with your simpthoms I would have performed a hard reset and if the issues continue I would have contacted support, it is pretty clear to me that your unit is faulty.

OK. I also have 24/7 HR and sleep tracking on.
Been using it intensivly since it was released mid-may. The only thing I don’t use is phone notifications.
I didn’t have to reboot it a single time. No crash, no bugs. Guess you’re running out of luck !..

@cosme-costa It didn’t turn on anymore, no way to hard reset it.

@renton82 yeah in your case it is clear, but @wmichi seems that have al lot of issues too, so I meant that he should do a hard reset and contact support.

I noticed that few of watchfaces says 1.6.2023 is wednesday and other says thursday. I use finnish language.

@Jugger “Kes” in your upper photo is not Keskiviikko (Wed) but Kesäkuu (June).

Just an experiment since I was curious because SV started to give me out of sudden low sleep quality and low resources. Not sure why is that.

@wmichi this is a nice discussion. We could not fix the issue as it’s in the firstbeat library. Due to that we are replacing all firstbeat data with our very soon by the end of the year. So hold on. Only this metric is buggered sometimes.

About all the other bugs we are on top of those. Update should come in a few weeks before July.

It’s much appreciated all the feedback here guys.

@Tieutieu my friend’s one is also running out of luck. After so many hard reset, he had enough and has just sent his watch back to amazon for full refund. He’s now looking at coros.

I agree but I forsee a lot of complains on this forum about the removal of Firstbeat. For most amateur athletes Firstbeat is, in their opnion, a guidence god. If it is not in the watch, it’s not a good watch.

When following a preloaded course, the directions shown on the map are clear and correct but the advise of an incoming turn at the bottom of the screen is very often wrong as it wants you to take the exact opposite direction (ex. left turn when the map shows a turn on the right)…

@surfboomerang According to this guy (https://www.youtube.com/@TheQuantifiedScientist) all the garmin watches perform poorly when talking about sleep analysis, so this can be seen as a pros for removal the fb.

@Dante-Mclalla are you sure you are following the route in direction it was planned? this is known when you go reverse.

@dombo I’m pretty sure as it did happen more than once. The route is right but there is just an inconsistency between the map and the advise at the bottom of the page of the incoming turn which is in the opposite direction!

The turn-by-turn directions are not from the map, are waypoints inserted by the app on the route itself based on the direction that you used at creation, i.e. from A to B.
Are you following a route that starts and ends in the same spot? If so, you are going the opposite direction

@Dante-Mclalla Is your route possibly a circular one?
If start and end point are close to each other I found that the watch tends to think I am going from end to start.
As the turn notifications are hard coded in the route information it will just show the information stored when approaching a turn, regardless the direction you are coming from.

I already filed a bug, so that with circular routes the watch will assume you start at the start.

@Egika the start and end point are 2km far from each other. It may be correct your assumption, the TbT directions just suggest the shortest route to the end point which in that case was left instead of right…
