What would Suunto App do with a connexion to an headset? Which cannot be done with a normal headset connected to the phone?

@Mff73 The only thing i can think, is that Suunto wants to have headphones with onboarded music, to cover the impossibility of implementing it in the watches…
Connection to Suunto App… only for FW updates?

I’m using Spotify for some years now and would find it cumbersome to take a step back -
@Jonathan-C I also wonder why does it specifically mention bone conduction, regular headphones won’t do?

Perhaps alternative HRM capabilities?? Would love to use these w/o a chest strap for strength work…one can dream

@DMytro I don’t know if you’re familiar, but if you look the headphones don’t go into the ears like normal ones do, these use bone conduction technology.

@Jonathan-C yeah, in familiar. What I’m trying t say is the following: if SA is adding new functionality for headphones, why single out bone conducting ones?
Probably the functionality is something like alerts or TbT or smth else, but this can be transmitted to any headp. -
