Maybe true, my point is, times recorded for 1K autolaps in the watch should match times of those 1K laps in the app I’ll give you that the others shown in the app .5KM, 2K and 5K are splits at least this is from running perspective
@Davide-Rizzi Ι think that is due to following the Android guidelines.
The BT “leaks” location if it’s set on to scanning (other devices can see your BT broadcast).
Also this is BLE that scans in the background
@mbartxxx
I would ask support for a warrenty repair. The service of Suunto is excellent and they also need to know what’s wrong with few devices. It’s good that this does not happen frequently to more users but Suunto can only fix issues they are aware of.
@Jose-Luis You have to do a factory reset on your watch to re-establish the link to movescount. Reseting the app or just deleting the route won’t fix it.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos said in Ascent missing in old routes:
I managed to find the issue. Created a bug for this
Good
And anyway ascent is wrong. Should be 35m at least
I was wrong … In fact the route was drawn from top to the bottom. so calculation is correct considering the direction
@stromdiddily
No problem, but there is as many different titles for posts, and differents manner to describe the same “issue”, “resquest”, “bug”, that even if some of us remember to have read it, it is sometimes hard to find the source.
@margusl sorry, I forgot to mention it, that I reset all rights to “zero”, when de-installing an app.
And I have been asked to grant permission about the position during the first start (which I did), and about the notifications on the watch (which I canceled, because that is not what I have the watch for).
@margusl
Thanks Margusl for the clarification.
Conclusion they are really not clever at Suunto side,
Discarding notification setting in suunto app what a shame…
Many thanks,
Pierre.
@silentvoyager Not hard to mark as a race and simply say in the comments that the mode requires it. Personally I don’t care how famous the person is or how many followers they have…not why I am on Strava. Anyway, it would be nice to have it work properly and Dimitrios can chime in here too but…the ONLY 3rd party site I use that does not interpret the data properly is Strava.
We have 2 types of lets say a place (a coordinate on x,y,z)
1 is a POI aka point of interest
2 is a waypoint which is a POI but as part of a route.
I think first will come waypoints (that are more requested globally ) and later pois.
And yes the UI is huge task you will see it and love it.
