@pavel-samokha I’ve noticed the same issue with older activities not displaying animations properly. It seems like only workouts synced directly from the watch to SA are working. Would be great if there was a way to support imported or older activities as well! Regarding the speed discrepancy, that’s an interesting find. The difference between the max speed shown in SA and the white flag animation does make it seem like a conversion issue. If it’s pulling from different data points (peak vs. recorded max), maybe there’s a way to standardize how it’s displayed? Also, I’d really appreciate having an option to manually switch between metric and imperial. Since it’s based on locale right now, it can be a bit inconvenient for those of us using different systems across devices. Hopefully, this is something that can be addressed in a future update!

@josephkarl said in Disappointed Android users: oid device has started lagging and the device becomes slow and many apps are getting affected with that and affecting the outlook app was one of them. The phone might get slower due to one single app if this one is using huge amounts of CPU, but it’s impossible that other apps are directly affected in terms of they stop working or have crashes because of Suunto. Each app running on an Android phone acts as a single user in a multi-user Linux system. This means that the apps live in their own sandbox regarding security, performance, etc. There is one pop-up when you install the SA asking you to allow the app to run in the background in order to provide a better service. If you don’t allow this (can also change it in the settings), the performance/battery of the phone will definitely not be affected although you might miss a couple of notifications.

@nigel-taylor said in New Android Diary Section: Agree the diary is an improvement and seems good at first glance, but if I look at my activities in the equivalent section in SportsTracker then that is a LOT more functional and useful. Do we know what the future of the diary is going to be? If it remains as the simple single list it’s going to be next to useless for monitoring progress and performance, if it gets the ability to search and filter by year and month etc as per SportsTracker, then it could be a solution that keeps me away from the web interface. Anyone know? Or…is the Android GUI going to change from its SportsTracker roots and this is a spurious discussion? Hello, i have just update to today’s 3.37.0 built. An still nothing to filter by month or activities, etc… Or may I lost something. I really prefered the first builds in term of diary informations. I must admit, i am not using SA anymore, just test new things, but in fact did not find any new stuff I am a good student, I upload my activities each time, but not more, if i need stats, I go to movescount web.

@slash Yes - great, today there was an update from RunGap - I hope it solves the problem. (I can not test it myself because I no longer use MC.)

@Cuba1hr said in Migration to Suunto App in 04/2020 and very unhappy with the result: Those minor things that SHOULD be easily fixable-activity setting memory and more screens…I don’t know why those features for SuuntoPlus arrive so slowly. I don’t get it why not more than 3-4 screens if it was possible on the Movescount, how long we have to wait for something that was already available. I think the same, that updates should be released more often.

@Niall-Oswald I am also facing this problem with my Ambit 3 Peak. I have tried it time and again but to no avail. I am left with no option but to stay with Movescount. Suunto must do something. This is very unfair and annoying.

@silentvoyager " It isn’t useful to look at one metric at a time. Ability to overlay multiple metrics together and select and zoom is essential. Movescount has that!" I agree with you for 100% Suunto knows our requirements, if they listen, they can have the best sport-watch app on the market.

@bulkan Winter Triathlon: run bicycle cross-country skis Duathlon: run bicycle run In winter, it is inconvenient to use the “multisport” mode instead of the “triathlon” mode. I do not understand why the Garmin watch has this realized even at the clock of the lowest price segment, and Suunto cannot do this even on top models.

@omunoz IOS I don’t think it’s supported. The feature has been turned off server side. So , without beeing 100% sure I think iOS needs to implement the feature right ?

@jthomi My procedure is: unpair watch, uninstall MC app, install first SuuntoApp (beta), pair watch, synchronize. Then close app (multitask). Install MC app. Synchronize watch without pairing. And voila!! As a preventive measure, close the app from multitask before opening the second one. Both apss opened may cause a watch reset. I tried the process in inverted order starting with MC app and it did´t work for me
