@crispin-kahesa That is not good. I would contact support as this may not recover. You could let the battery completely deplete so the watch turns off. Then charge and reboot but you should contact support.

@BrunoH thanks for the response! I spent a couple hours looking through different options before posting and I do have the Suunto vertical so it should’ve been available. It would’ve been smart for me to take a picture of the menu beforehand where it was missing, but I ended up doing a factory (Hard) reset and now the option is there, where it should be, and worked great!

@robis would be nice to have also a prediction what is coming next same as we have it for temperature

@johansson you are most welcome and I have no doubt you will enjoy your Vertical Solar! I applaud you for doing “your homework” before purchasing as well. Just something I will add as I found out while doing sandbag training (cleans and overhead presses) the little button that holds the end of the strap would come undone or dig into my wrist. @pavel-samokha i saw the map and it’s demarcated incorrectly, however the real problem when navigate using SV maps these lines go though the map incorrectly and the result you get it’s a visual complex …a mix with paths ,roads, lines with a black bold ridge lines in screen in zoom 50m What i understand here is luckily it’s not watch manufacturing problem eg. Processor, memory , screen issues etc… so im COOL -It’s topographic issue maybe I use the navigation very often in my training and different mountains, in general i don’t remember anywhere else same black line issues so far.

@Ketoohs I have not done this yet myself, but I have read that car touch up paint or toy modelling paint can work.

Seems like it works good so far, but it weird, becouse when I checked weather widget it always says it was last time updated like 1h max. Something must be really wrong that it stopped to automatically update. Thanks Guys!:)

@aroo7 regarding the issue with tbt, I can confirm I have just the same behaviour, I contacted support about this already more than a year ago, they are simply unable/unwilling to do sth about this. I only got some idiot reply stating deleting and reinstalling suunto app, rebooting the watch, soft and hard reset , all without result. I simply switched to coros, they are simply the best. So to avoid being frustrated a simple switch does the thing. Kind regards.

@twekkel I knew the non-alphanumeric characters issue. I wasn’t aware of the “numbers”. In fact the original firmware accept it without problems (I was able to download the maps back then)

@Sportsfreund How do you set this on watch and before saving to app? Press resume or end and than something else?
