@C5032005 I will mirror what @iterumtenta said and I have seen similar when the Suunto HR belt is connected to my phone. It is almost like a scavenged resource where the phone and Vertical compete for the signal. If I “forget device” of the belt from my phone I get very clean results to my watch.

@Ales-Zavoral 100m is certainly not too far in any mountains, forest, etc. Not everyone walks/cycle in the city.

@sonder1 There is a Suunto Plus Indoor Climbing. But no way to add climbing grade in it. It only detect and count all your ascents (at least for lead climbing because bouldering there is not enough ascent).

I owned a Vector too and used to look often at the ascent speed while hiking, since that gives you an idea on how fast you are going and allow to estimate the remaining altitude difference to your destination. Since the Vertical/Race watch family can show altitude and barometric pressure, they could easily display also the vertical speed as a complication, it’s odd that isn’t present as a choice. I agree with you about the ridiculous small font of the time field shown on the top of the activity fields, it’s actually useless, especially while in outdoor activities.

@far-blue hi Thanks It just did, on it’s own. Now I have a different issue. HRM pro plus and running dynamics not working together at the same time on a treadmill or anymore. Both Garmin. Tried everything. Even pulling out batteries from both, forgot both, reconnected both and then I reconnected just the HRM. Works! Disconnecting HRM and connecting just the pod doesn’t work, adding GPS(talking treadmill) doesn’t help. I did the run outside two days ago. All behaving perfectly, just like Garmin Did the treadmill this morning and kept disconnecting, like half the data dropped out, including steps, making the stride length 200cm when I corrected the length of the run. Looks like Google was right when it said that the Garmin running dynamics doesn’t work on other watches (it did perfectly so just once.) Problem is(or not) that on my narrow treadmill I have to keep a hand on the bars otherwise I could fall(and the treadmill was actually because of an ankle injury) I changed the steps on the suunto app and that doesn’t show either on the main page nor the watch itself. Thanks muchly for the answer

Yes, I had the same problem. It was uploaded to strava incorrectly.[image: 1746112024151-img_20250430_234812.jpg] [image: 1746112024162-img_20250430_234747.jpg] [image: 1746112024173-screenshot_2025-04-30-23-47-09-69_3bb53944894d9646ec5754b62cc2584b.jpg]

@martintrail said in weather display: I had the same problem this morning, but it’s fine now. I synchronized a few times and then somehow it was fine. 200 / 5.000 right. I was having this problem too. As you said, it works after 2.3 synchronizations. but the problem here is that BEAUFORT is used differently in each country. we use km/hour but the watch gives me m/s

@sartoric Indeed, you’re right. “POI (Point of Interest)” seems the right terminology for what I want to do. Thank you very much. [image: 1744120724518-baedf0c7-d4f3-4583-8acd-58a517773cbf-image.png]

I have the same problem. After updating to firmware 2.40.38, the watch does not recognise my breaststroke style. Before it was no problem to recognise and count breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke. Now only freestyle and backstroke. I have also tried various swim breast to see if some adjustment of the style can achieve recognition and recording but without success.

@Brad_Olwin And I like Suunto running power more than on Garmin, because I got similar numbers as on bike with 4iii power meter according to my feelings. Garmin is about 100W higher.
