The sleep times are added up on the Vertical, but not in the Suunto app. The HRV values ​​are added up in the Suunto app, but not on the Vertical. So I have different values ​​in the watch and in the app that can never match. Something needs to be improved here.

I don’t get it either. You need to set up the wifi to access in the app anyway. The function to enter the password is there. Built in. No need for a workaround.

@misakq as this is a user forum, there probably are not too many people here that can be addressed by “you”… Anyway, the knowledge the forum has is the following: For sleep tracking in Race there was some external technology licensed, to have it available for market launch of the watch. This was done to be able to move away from the FirstBeat technology used in earlier watches. I highly doubt, that there is a positive business case to license this same current technology for existing Verticals. What we have seen in the latest firmware update of Vertical, is the first implementation of Suunto’s own technology. I bet this will be developed further from the current state onwards.

I’m going to find a nylon strap because the Suunto straps that I have with my Vertical and the Race all irritate by skin where the buckle makes contact with the skin.

@Lucadag92 I have the same issues when cycling or running. So you are not unique. I agree that this feature should work better. When I was using my Garmin, it was good enough for steady state runs, but not for workouts. I’d hoped for the same level of performance from my Vertical. I got a little improvement by switching to a Velcro band, but it’s still not great, and I have to use an external HR strap.
