@safari Edit: I did a soft reboot and I can say it’s fixed for now.

@danct I had this problem years ago with a Garmin Etrex. It was a corrupt map. Happened every time I went past a certain point. Obviously I have no idea if this affects the Vertical, I have had no issues walking with map, which doesn’t really help I guess!

@giuliosq or better… I want the laps to be counted (lap count?) automatically based on the distance (which is calculaetd correclty). the laps dont go as for example apple watches which tell you exaclty what number of laps

This is happening automatically. Seems like climb guidance did not fully follow.

@Sulli-Nav afaik Suunto is flexible where to produce the watches. Most will be made in their China factory, while it is still possible to produce in Finland. You will get the same high quality and individually tested device where ever the factory is located in the world.

All companies update their apps at some point, none of them is asking the users. How many versions of one app a company should keep alive to please every user?
