I have some how the same similar results. What I have observe additional are the folowing: if in the period of 24, if you take a nap, then after some hours you take a full 7-8 hours of slepp, for that day, the sum of the slept hour’s are no longer summed. Basically the watch does show only the first nap, or unclear/incorect slepp hours. Some time, you can see them both, but the slepp, or consecutive nap’s are incorect couted as no. of hours.

@BrunoH Sometimes just reinstalling of the SA helps. But first try to clean the cache of SA.

For me it’s biggest improv of last updates. I calibrated my compass let’s say like month ago, and it’s like 95% perfect accurate. I don’t know how often do You turn Your watch off. Auto compass finally working as should be at watch release.

@Stefano-M64 Hi thanks - are you 100% sure about this? It does read that way in menus but its not how it works based on mine and other commenter experience. If so - which FW are you on? I will try to reset the watch and see if it helps EDIT: You were right, thanks again. watch restart fixed the issue.

@claudiotereso it seems that I also updated after activity, I could not notice it, because I was running early in the morning. after restarting the watch, while TSB on the dial is relevant on the second day without any activity. Let’s see the behavior in the future. And yes, at the moments when TSB, CTL and ATL were for yesterday, the watch was synchronized with SA several times. I’m observing)

Hi @Mechanicus, i experience the same openwater problems. I bought the Race late oktober 2024 and i was very happy with the Race as it was almost spot-on with the other watches in my group (mostly Garmin). A lot better than de S7 which i had before which always added an extra 10% on every swim. During wintertime we stayed in the pool (which is okay with the Race as long as you don’t stop during a lane) But…when we started outdoor swimming in the beginning of april 2025 all my results are terrible. On a 2K5 swim the watch added at least 500 meters. Last week my Race is exchanged for a new one because the screen was burnt-in after only 6 months in use (very disapointing, even de S7 was beter in that way) This morning (with the new watch) a 3K1 swim (all Garmins say) but Race made a “fantastic” 4K8 (!) out of it. ps this was in “endurance” mode, but all other swims in 2025 were in best possible mode You would allmost think has anyting to do with the latest fw update

@renton82 said in Screen protector size: Hello, does someone know if Vertical’s screen protectors fit Race’s glass? If not, what is the size of the glass itself? you’ll find size spec on suunto’s website. But Vertical’s screen is strong…screen protectors not really needed… Discussed here :how your vertical look…

@Pier-Luigi-Cingolani completely agree! Does anyone know if the vibration setting is gonna be changed in the future FW updates? I found it pretty annoying when you scroll through widgets (and I want to leave the vibration on for notifications).

@Tieutieu it is working perfect with the SV but not with SR. Maybe it is dimmed but not enough or the difference is so small that you cannot see it. Either way I think as mentioned above Suunto needs to improve it. It is quite annoying if the watch is turned on during the night and there is no way to turn it off. The only option we have now is to wait the 20-30sec or cover the watch some how.

@gilcu2 notifications are supposed to time out after a few seconds. If you see them for longer time, this is not like it is designed. I have observed a similar behavior, just only during workouts so far, not in watch mode. This is in Suunto’s bug tracking system already.

@doncarlo in the app there are different maps available, even a wintermap, dedicated for planning with slope angles. I find it very useful and the map in the watch is great to have an intuitive possibility to navigate in the mountains. I was also suggesting to collaborate with swiss topo, but I like this solution that we have a lot, as it is unified and the same for every place in the world

@gtung3388 except for my first run, I’ve not noticed a difference in my HR, and definitely no jumping around. I do use a nylon strap so not sure if that has helped? But as others have said, if you want an accurate HR then you’ll have to use a strap. This morning’s run is below, quite consistent with the inclines/declines - the dips are when we’ve stopped. I’m not sure why this couldn’t be implemented though. Surely if Suunto can derive a VO2 Max from running then cycling can’t be too far out of the box
