@Stefan1 Agreed, and sure i want more detailed data, for example to look at particular dive in suunto app. Now we can’t enter each dive in suunto app.

So after first 1h dive in a pool, I have some questions: Watch on the left hand, POD from the right shoulder - half of the time I don’t get pressure readings shown. Only if I move left hand way to the right, it gets shown again. Is this some sort of closed space, indoor fluke or this is “normal” and I must use watch on the same side as pod or use some POD extension from now on? Maybe it was reading OK, but was not shown on the watch? (gas consumption graph had long gaps with 0 values, guess it is poor watch/pod connection). Empty tank drill was nice - watch showed red alert with sound alarm. Why there is no dive start and end time on the app? The only way I could find actual dive time was on the watch logbook. Bottom time and other basic data is not available neither on watch or app. Stock watch strap is too small for 5mm wet suit, managed to secure it with last hole, need at least 1-2cm longer. Wonder if straps in accessories shop are longer or same max length and shorter? (watch came with single strap length, additional are sold with 3 parts). Compass was meh experience, does not really have tilt compensation, so it takes a while to get accurate reading. Since I will most likely will have to wear watch on the right hand, wonder if display rotation would be beneficial (watch side buttons are designed for the left hand use and feel akward wearing on the right). Some dive computers have ability to rotate display, guess this function is not available on Ocean? But overall - decent first experience, good auto brightness, easy reading, good alerts (max depth was 4.8m, so too early to tell how it acts in open water).

Works great - only watch vibrates on notification/call.

@prakalejas totally agree, it can even be 3d printed Design is really easy to make and will cost like 2-3$ per charger (printing material, magnets and usb c to wire adapters When I see the price of the oem charger for race 2 vertical 2 I found it is really overpriced, 30$ sounds a much more fair price to me I understand that a company must earn money but the price of the charger does not seems fair to me especially when I compare to their watch price policy that is really really good

Worked it out, it’s necessary to actually update iOS to version 26.1 to fix the issue. I saw the prompt saying the issue was resolved but did not realize I wasn’t on the latest version of iOS. Watch sync is working now. @Mads-Hintz-Madsen no VPN here.

I went diving again today and noticed after the dive that the average depth on Ocean and in the app matched. From what I saw, it even adjusted the average depth retroactively. So now it should be correct Ocean <-> app. I am using the latest Android app version (V6.4.7 / 10 November 2025).

@chandan There also needs to be a facility to edit the start/stop sleep time - a slow morning in bed registers as an extra 30-60+ minutes of sleep when the heart rate was no longer aligned with the sleeping heart rate pattern.

Quick update on my Ocean I left the device with the local service center, but they were unable to obtain any support from Suunto. They also mentioned ongoing issues sourcing new stock due to the poor responsiveness from Suunto, which raised further concerns. After five weeks with no progress, I retrieved the unit and decided to handle the support process myself. Surprisingly, upon collection, I attempted a hard reset by holding the top button and saw a low battery icon despite the device being completely unresponsive when initially dropped off. It appears the battery may have drained entirely and triggered a full reset. After a quick charge, the unit powered up and I was able to install the latest firmware update. Regardless, this experience has ended my confidence in both the service center and Suunto’s support structure. This will be my final Suunto product support has been bed from start to finish, and the reliability of the unit itself is now in question.

I was looking for dive computer with recreational range (up to 60m). 40m limit of some other watches is a deal breaker, since even recreational dives can go a bit deeper and riding on lockdown limit is no fun at all. But not really wanted a dedicated one, which would just not be used 95% of a year. I also wanted Air Integration and decent battery without breaking the bank. Scuba Pro galilleo 3, mares and similar watches are just too dumb outside diving, garmin is way too expensive. Suunto gave a decent option in between. So far - a bit mixed feelings, but it growing on me. At least it’s very fast, good display and good battery and actually good for basic stuff outside diving. Somehow controls and menus were super easy to understand. Hardware looks good, I just wish suunto and partners would push a bit harder on software development - not in quantity, but quality.

Since I had same problem, which drove me crazy, I found a solution and a possible problem that caused this, will share my thoughts, maybe it will help somebody: AOD is disabled, when watch is in Do Not Disturb mode. There are two ways to trigger it: using manual switch in widgets (swipe up -> control panel -> DND) or using Settings -> Sleep -> Auto DND. Switching on using settings Auto DND by time turns on DND and DOES NOT TURN IT OFF, when you toggle Auto DND off. You need to manually disable DND using widgets -> control panel -> DND. Hope this helps somebody, till it is fixed.

@Brad_Olwin I am sorry if I was too rude, also I was not aware that only volonteers testers was handling this forum. The disappointed messages I sent was to Suunto and definitly not too you guys. Every answer I get from you is really appreciated even if they are not what I was expecting. I am the kind of guy to watch all kind of tests / videos/ guide about what I buy and I am expecting excellences. The thing is that those days it is almost impossible to have an accurate and non commercial vision of a product. Now I feel that I was mislead / cheat with my Suunto Ocean. I probably expect too much… But understand that with a more basic watch from G, I had many more features regarding my running expérience. Again sorry that my messages was rude but don’t take it personnally, they are all directed to Suunto internal team development. We are lucky to have you guys.

Pray it will be corrected in the next update, within a year. It is easier to say it is just mistake in the user manual.

@tinten.addi „Update“ didn‘t changed anything - someone able to explain me, how to read it correctly?
