@far-blue something similar happened to me when starting a workout a few days ago. Started the watch, then it soft reset by itself, then showed 4 messages incoming, which I confirmed and then it soft resets itself another time. Ended with device reseting itself to safe state. https://forum.suunto.com/post/159812 Had no problems ever since though.

On the Stryd part, don’t use S+ Stryd app, it’s not helpful. Pair your stryd as footpod to your watch and it’ll give you power, pace, distance and cadence.

@최도원 I have identified the cause of the issue. The “race s” device resets the step count every midnight. The issue seems to occur when the power is turned off before midnight and turned back on in the morning. When the device is powered on in the morning, the time is reset, and as a result, today’s step count is not processed correctly. I have confirmed that this issue does not occur if the device is turned off after midnight and turned back on in the morning. This issue appears to require a fix.

@Luis-de-Paz Training metrics including TSS, TSB, CTL will sync but the individual workouts will not sync back to the watch. So, what you want is not possible.

Hi, no, you don’t have to pair it with the watch, and then unpair it after a workout. Just pair it once. Then just put the chest strap on, wait before you start your activity until you see a green belt icon above the START button, this means the chest strap is connected to the watch. That’s all.

@Patrick-Rx What works for me with sticky buttons (for crown should work as well) is luke warm water with some liquid soap, I put it in the glass and leave the watch 2-3 hours inside. You can gently stir it.

@MoTrailrunner never had such battery drain on my RACE S. Don’t know how to directly help, but here are my settings (i would say around 5% battery drain per night). For sur what drains battery the most is backlight. Maybe also notifications ? Eco mode OFF main permanent backlight setting OFF sounds : buttons OFF vibration OFF Alarm BOTH backligh : LOW permanent display OFF raise to wake DISPLAY ONLY Notications OFF H24 HR tracking and sleep tracking ON (sleep period set to 23h to 7h) VFC tracking ON SPO2 tracking OFF auto DND mode ON (same than sleep 23h to 7h)

I noticed this behavior some times with my SV, but not with the actual firmware. A soft reset could solve the problem, and the watch charged

@Antti-Räty Hi, i just wanted to come and tell an update: My watch has performed very strong. First day i had some problems as i mentioned, but i also live deep in the woods. Im very satisfied with the watch overall. Gps is very precise. Hope this helps anybody who has gps troubles on first day.
