the titanium does look fantastic
it appears to me as if it is anodized. coating would give another impression of the surface IMO -

Received mine yesterday too. Solar version with black band. Beautiful watch.
Installed the latest firmware and downloaded my map. Smallest version for Lower Saxony (Germany) is almost 800 MB, so it took quite a while.I have a question regarding the backlight. It appears quite uneven on my watch. Especially at â4 oâclockâ is a very noticeable shadow if the background colour is white.
Is it just mine or do they all look like this?

Setting>general>backlight
Turn off all -

you can switch off raise to wake.
by the way: I found it to be too reactive and noticed that setting it to âlowâ reduces the sensitivity of lighting upliving sideways

@freeheeler I agree, itâs way more sensitive then the S9P. Maybe even too sensitive. I even noticed the backlight came on even in full sunlight.
Isnât the light sensor suppose to prevent that? -

@freeheeler there is no âExercise onlyâ option anymore or am I missing something? I used this on my S9P as I do not need to light up screen in watch only modeâŠ

@Likarnik I think a lot has changed here. I also missed the âAdaptiveâ option for standby-light.

if you toggle off standby and select off in raise to wake, there shouldnât be any light anymore, no?living sideways

@renton82 Also make sure backlight setting is off if you scroll down from the watch face

@Likarnik yes Iâm on iOS => just ckecked again. Name watch is not displayed. Not a big deal a guess it will be correct in a next update of SA.
But I will try again this afternoon and see if it is linked to the fact that I was on flight mode when I synchronised yesterday.
