Why hasn't a metronome been implemented yet?

Hi, new here. I hope it isn’t as feral as the guitar forums.
I searched “metronome” and there are three, presumably ignored requests? Seems easy enough and with all the drum yoga classes out these days, it seems kinda odd not to have one. I see runners requesting it for cadence. I would like it so I don’t have to wear a metronome watch separately for music, and I don’t want to wear two watches.

Is there any reason this hasn’t happened? The first request I saw was from 5 years ago
