@Łukasz-Szmigiel hi Łukasz Szmigiel, unfortunately I have the same feeling… but I find it absurd to have to wait more than 5/6 months to have a fix… from some comments I’ve read, I’m not the only one whose watch battery now lasts less than 5 days, and compared to the 21 days declared we are very far from an acceptable situation

@t-Dox I am in the same boat - my S9PP lasts max. 5 days now. I am sometimes loosing 20% overnight. Going on a trip now, so I need the watch, but I am sending it to Suunto once I am back home. The funny thing is that it has a quite new battery - it was already changed a few months ago.

Hi timecode, I’m sorry that you are experiencing the same problems as me… honestly I don’t think it’s a battery problem (or at least I hope so), but rather I think it depends on the software… I hope that the development team will soon be put in the best conditions to be able to solve the problems

Have you already tried a downgrade? I think it’s like many and also with me because of the software and suunto won’t be able to do anything here.

@Kaiphi downgrade wouldn’t help I believe. This is not happening after the last update, it was already an issue an update before that. Honestly I don’t even remember when it started 🙂

Does anyone know if Suunto is working on improving the software so that Race S doesn’t lose distance when switching to breaststroke or backstroke?
                          Many thanks.

Another 2 nights the sleep tracking has failed again.

The HR still works and records data all night, but no sleep tracking data when I wake up.

Of course, I restarted the watch after the first failure and it correctly recognized my naps from yesterday. Unfortunately it has failed again tonight and in the morning I have no sleep tracking data at all.

                            This is getting very annoying.

For me it worked for 10 consecutive days but failed me yesterday night.

                              Edit 1:
Did a soft reset and expected it to work again. But it did not. What’s new for me: While heart rate was continuously measured through the night, Ressources where not. In the past, when the Race failed to track sleep, Ressources were there.

                              Edit 2:
This night sleep tracking worked again, just as expected after performing a soft reset. Ressources also work again. I remembered that I changed the settings for auto do not disturb the day before yesterday after my first soft reset. Maybe that disrupted the effect of the soft reset?

After a long time, my watch disconnected from the Suunto App again today. Soft-restart solved it.

I’m not sure if it’s related to the last update, but I didn’t want to open a new topic either. I have a problem with the Data clock face as seen in the picture the first number is cut off from 10000 steps. Is this already known? Are there others with this error?

Here is the recording of my last swimming workout.
I swam 50 laps (swimming pool length = 25m), the first 20 going freestyle and returning backstroke, then the last 30 laps all freestyle. After each length I pressed the lower button of the watch (to mark the lap).
                                    I swam for 1250 m but Race S tracked a distance of only 1050 m (-16% !!!).
You can see how the watch records incorrectly when you change style (the first 20 laps).
I hope Suunto checks this issue/bug and fixes it.
                                    Thanks.

2 days in a row with map screen issue on my SRs :
the current position remains stuck to starting point.
The workout is recorded perfectly, I can navigate on map and the track is properly recorder and displayed, but current position is on start.
Yesterday soft reset solved. This morning issue was back.
As anyone experienced that too ?

With Android, maybe since 5.0, I am also facing such issue with SV.
Thus, I think it is more linked to the app and not the watch, as you seems to face it with another watch and iOS.
